Ask for hike or move to a new company
I have got very less hike and my ctc is below market/company standards, so should I talk to my skip manager for raise or just switch to a new company, I’m worried about recession and layoffs. Yoe: 4
If this is your 2nd or 3rd year without a raise or promotion, believe me - they think u are non-competitive so not getting a job outside, plus you are being taken for granted.
Move out. Embrace new challenges. It all starts with you first.
Stay confident and focused. Make calculated moves. Timid are not welcomed in new organisations and are the first in line of 🔥

If you talk to your skip manager , your direct manager will be pissed. On top of that your skip will ask your direct manager about your work and performance.
Simply switch and exit with a smile. Keep good references and praise your leadership.
