I don't understand their unique value proposition. What exactly is their MO? How do they intend to monetise this? Also, how tf anyone raises 12Mn for an idea that a simple Google search can solve?

They make sure your information is stored on the app, each successive visa application will be not cumbersome, because applications could become instant. Google search does not solve for that. Visa is a pain, and given how much spending power foreign travellers have + the risk of not getting visa on time; I feel this is an interesting idea

For someone who is from adjacent industry, half of the things they claim are straight out lies. - They claim to be working with the immigration to get your application processed but in reality beyond applying on the website you can’t really do much. - On the app when you upload a photo - it says checking across local databases, interpol database, etc. and then says everyone is clear. If you upload a photo of your thumb even then it will say everything is clear. - For Dubai specially, which is a regulated market and has authorised agents. They claim they are one but in reality they just are buying from existing agents and go after the market. - During last year they said that they are authorised by VFS to enable biometric collection for Schengen in locations outside of VFS. Which VFS had to step in & ask them to remove. - And one of the best things is that they ask less documents and add dummy data while applying the visa. Someone on Reddit claimed they were called by the embassy and told that you have uploaded fraud docs and visa got rejected. This is going to be another great story from PeakXV (Sequoia) of potential fraud.
