I am a bit confused but can anyone tell me what do people with hi-fi Designations do. Like I have heard people work on the role of Product manager, Projet manager, solutions architect, operations manager. No offense though but all I see them is doing either meetings or speaking mumbo jumbo to clients. Like what value do they add??? Just curious as for the first time I will be joining a company with ppl having such tags so wanted to know for which takes can I seek their help.

Hi, I have been offered a PM role at Paytm. My overall experience is 6 yrs with >2 yrs in Product. The CTC they are offering is 40 LPA which is a 30% hike. In current company culture and wlb is good. If anyone can suggest, Is it lower/higher than market standards and how's the culture and wlb in Paytm Product team?

I'm applying for an open role there, but don't know anyone working there. How is the culture? Is it very corporate (like banks are usually?) or more like an innovation lab (quicker projects, new tech?) How is wlb? Any perks that stand out? How is the leadership? Is there a risk of layoffs there in near future?

How's the pay for analysts in banks like Citi, HSBC, IDFC etc? My "assumption" is they have a better work life balance compared to start-ups (I work in one - CTC being 28lpa - almost 4 YOE). Why am I asking? Looking at how things are going on at BLR, I'm planning to someday switch to company with work from home and better work life balance.
