Bhasha - Duolingo for Indian Languages 🦚

There used to be a lot of local good structured apps a couple years back for learning Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati etc with English/Hindi base language. I am unable to find the exact ones now on the play store. Do you guys know any good apps (Indian version of Duolingo) for our languages?

Today, designers often get inspired by apps designed for audiences outside of India, even though they are designing them for Indian consumers. While working with MPL, I got the same issue in one of the discussions, and that fueled me to think about this idea to work on. Back in 2023, I decided to get this ignited and have curated screenshots of 5–6 apps as well. I was ready to launch, but unfortunately faced some issues while deploying it. I didn’t get help from an expert, got busy with other work, and ultimately had to stop working on it. However, a few weeks ago, someone asked me which was the best domain I owned, and I suddenly remembered Screenrepo. I had two options at that point: sell it or build it, and I decided to build it. We are building a new consumer application in our product line up, it's called pruddy. The idea behind the app is, you will get a virtual pet dog to raise by feeding and maintaining its health by not using your phone or you are in focus mode. The pet will have all kinds of emotions, like happiness, sadness, hunger etc.. When you are in focus mode, you get coins and using those coins, you can feed your dog. As everyone knows, India is a multilingual country. What do you think is the one language that could unify India as a linguistic nation: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, or any other? Do you feel that there's a strong need for this in India, or is it not desirable to have one linguistic nation? Do you feel that people have started to perceive themselves differently based on their language? What are the thoughts of Grapevine users on this matter?
