Hi Everyone, I have 5 ys experience working in Database support with having knowledge in SQL, Scripting and python. I want to switch my role to a Data Engineering job as my current role is not having enough job opportunities outside. I am planning to learn tools on Data Engineering. Like the Data Frameworks: Airflow,SSIS,Azure Factory And Dataworks like Snowflake,Databricks,Postgres I need some guidance on which tool to start learning and if I plan to learn these tools for the next 6 months. Is it possible to crack the interviews....this is my 1st switch to a new company. Can anyone pls suggest which framework, Dataworks tool i need to start and has high possibility for getting switch to new company. If possible can you pls share the learning path 🙏🙏🙏. Hey everyone , I am currently working in a consulting company with most work being in sql in snowflake and databricks and python. I wanna switch to sde or data engineer role. Does anyone have experience how can I switch. It seems like analyst in profile is not good. I am already trying to do DSA again. Oh yeah 1 year exp 🙃

Considering the automation threat from AI analytics roles might get fewer and salaries are not that much high in analytics. What are your views on this? Do you think analytics will be the most impacted field because of AI? If anyone had changed from analytics to de/ds, how difficult to change?

My manager interviewed me developer role and after final interview mentioned support role. I had a discussion for role change with manager but forcing to work here for 1year and they will release me. I couldn't cope up with this environment and hating to go to work everyday. Decided to resign. Can I get any referrals. I have overall 3 years experience in IT industry in which 2 years as a Data engineer. I am interested in Data engineer or Data analyst role. Need help here..

Data analyst (1.5 yoe) working mostly in query developments and power bi here. Can't hope for further growth in my current company (too much hierarchy). Currently brushing up python skills to boost up my resume. Any suggestion from experienced folks is highly appreciated.

Hi All, I have been working in Infosys for the last 2.5years in the Data Analysis domain with SQL and Microsoft Power BI skillsets. Now I am planning to switch job. so which extra skills in the Data field can I learn for the future? Which is the most demanding technology in the Data field?

So I am currently working on mainly Python and SQL. I was thinking of upskilling but I am confused whether I should go full stack role maybe learn react or should I go data engineer role and learn big data. I have worked with ETL software’s such as snowflake and Databricks. I want to switch job but looks like no one is hiring for someone who only knows python and sql.(though major work is on sql only ) Any suggestions

I have seen ups and downs in the software industry. Currently I’m working as a senior architect in one of the product based companies in India.
