Looking for a experienced CA to help with filing ITR and doing tax planning. I have spoken to few online ones and feel like they are only good for filing ITR.
My advice dont go to CA for ITR1 and ITR2. ITR1 is the simplest of all. There are lot of youtube vedios. Refer to your previous returns. Reengineer it and repeat it. Going to CA will charge you more and add no value. People will create a fear of getting notice from IT. Salaried people will get notice obly when there is blatant lie on your return. Just fill fairly and you can be safe. If you have lots of money that you can spend on CA for uour image purpose then its a different story.
Bro, I have been filing ITR since last 11 years by myself. Felt the need to hire someone this year because of complexity and the shewr amount I am paying in Taxes. Agree with you that for ITR1 and 2 don’t need a CA but I have capital gain/loss, income from business, salary, foreign esop, domestic esop, interest income, unlisted shares , unlisted bonds and few more things.
ITR3 needs CA or someone with knowledge. If ITR2 , then you can still DIY. Its simple. And mostly self explanatory. But you say business income so i think its IT3 for you.

May be you need a financial planner not a tax planner. Also, unsure what exactly is a tax planner. There is really no such profession as tax planner.

Thinking a little ahead here, but I want to know how to find a good CA for my tax filing. This is the first time I'll be filing my own taxes. Any recommendations and tips are welcome :)
