Gonna lead to the death of cabs.
Commuting by cabs for 1-2 people at ₹25/km is a luxury rate or a weekend affair. Drivers can't survive at a lower rate and commuters can't afford daily commuting.
Given traffic jams, time lost will pinch more to drivers, we don't yet have swift roads where drivers can make 200 bucks in under 10min.
Unit economics doesn't work out. The market for cans is going to be filled only the rich commuter.
So, autos will be back in business now
More cars on road soon.
Then DK will dig tunnels using his companies.
It should ideally be 24rs/10mins. Fare to be measured by time traveled than the distance in Bengaluru.
Nonsense caps, 4L Alto and 9L ergtia having same upper limit. Total idiots must have framed it.
Similar rigid caps on movie tickets lead to death of prasads IMAX, let the free market do it's thing.
Hope they implement it. To travel 4.5 km in ola at 7.30am is 260.₹. but the same distance at 8.00am is 460₹. Ola and Uber is unforgiving...
