Cab fare cap

Do you think it would work? Would ola and uber forced to implement it? There are offline cabs which charges way higher for airport pickup and drop.

Gonna lead to the death of cabs.

Commuting by cabs for 1-2 people at ₹25/km is a luxury rate or a weekend affair. Drivers can't survive at a lower rate and commuters can't afford daily commuting.

Given traffic jams, time lost will pinch more to drivers, we don't yet have swift roads where drivers can make 200 bucks in under 10min.

Unit economics doesn't work out. The market for cans is going to be filled only the rich commuter.

What’s the point of all this Rapido investment as I still won’t get any auto on that app?
