Chrome extension to automatically mute/unmute ads on JioCinema during IPL matches

A friend built this extension, sharing on their behalf Description: This extension automatically mutes the volume when ads appear during IPL matches. Also it puts a dark layover over the video player when the ads are playing. You can disable the layover from the extension popup if you don't want it to appear. Please refresh the JioCinema page, after adding/enabling the extension. Because of some technical issues it isn't deployed it to the chrome web store. Until that's sorted out, there is an alternate way to add the extension to browser: Instructions to install: If you have the GitHub account, read the instructions here: https://github.com/sivunq/mute-jiocinema-IPL-ads/blob/main/README.md or follow below steps: 1. Download the zip file from this link: https://github.com/sivunq/mute-jiocinema-IPL-ads/archive/refs/heads/main.zip 2. Unzip the downloaded file. 3. Open the extensions page in chrome browser (chrome://extensions/). Enable developer mode (a toggle button on top right side) in the same page. Drag and drop the unzipped folder in the extensions page. Disable the developer mode. 4. A speacial place in hell for Hotstar

Showing 3 ads every 10 mins to users who have paid for subscriptions is silly and stupid. They are running out of ideas and happy to see Hotstar content moving to JioCinemas. Put an end to this nonsense

I am watching ipl simultaneously on my laptop and phone in the same language. In the break the ads shown on different devices are different. Does this happen normally?

Jio Cinema Feedback

Hey @championswimmer I use hotstar, Netflix, Sony LIV and Prime as premium user and all of them are doing great. Only #jiocinema looks like lagging. Apart from crashes and memes, few honest feedbacks and suggestions. 1. FHD or HD also looks like 480p on JioCinema app. 2. Concurrent user during live sports instead of total viewers 3. Ad experience is very bad even as premium user, that's a complaint for star and Amazon also. I dunno y 4. Recommendation engine isn't strong like peers. Guys u can also add ur issues below. Hope u take these feedbacks positively and do a freestyle lap inorder to fix these butterfly kinda issues.
