Keep at it. It gets easier with time. Do a retrospective of your learning, write down your learning’s. Talk to senior guys about what really matters. Read their code. Ask them to critique your code. Use the code generator to see what is their recommendation.  
 At the end of the day simplicity, accuracy and performance wins. Aim for it.

Should i give it another chance or just do mba or masters in data related field? Thanks.

I am a BCA graduate who passed out in 2023 from a private university in Jaipur.Just like any other BCA guy I started preparing for MCA entrance exams such as NIMCET but I am not enjoying it. Truth to be told I always enjoyed solving questions on leetcode as well as making some web dev projects. Even I had developed some kickass advanced level web dev projects and won a hackathon also. But from last year I have been not coding and I literally forgotten everything. I am not even enjoying my MCA exam preparation. Even though I am getting decent marks in mock tests but still I am now frustrated. Please help me guys what should I do next? I love to code. What I am thinking is that to take some distance MCA course. Give myself 6 months to upskill and take a job. What do you guys think about it?

Bit about myself - just graduated this month and working as an APM at a seed stage startup. I have 1.5 years of product experience and 3 years of overall experience as an intern. 

Lately, not sure why but I am loving what engineers do. Closely working with them, and I guess it's nostalgic for myself. Because I did coding for 6 months and moved on for some reason. So, I understand how tech actually works. Have got good feedback regarding this. 

At the same time, I am not really finding the true value of what I am doing everyday. Feels a void inside. 

Also, I am not able to discuss all these things in person with someone, because I fear that they will judge me after doing internships for 3 years, I still haven't figured out my career. Such a loser I am. 

I have been thinking about starting coding again and maybe switching to a coding job in the next 6 months maybe. But again it would be tough for me as I only got weekends for me to learn all this stuff. 

What do you all experienced folks suggest? What should I do?

Switch from PM to Engineer

I’m a college grad from IIT in CSE. I haven’t done any competitive coding or any proper coding during my college days for that matter. I have lost confidence in myself for some reason. I had taken up a business job but left it in a few months because I thought I could do better. 
I want to do competitive coding but as soon as I open my laptop, anxiety kicks in. 
I need guidance on how to proceed and what recourses should I use. 
I don’t want to waste my degree as I feel I can do better than my previous job.

Right now I'm at the end of my 6th semester of engineering in IT, i am not interested in DSA and doing coding ( I like it to some extent). I don't know what I should do now where as I'm interested in job role like digital marketing and roles which are related to marketing ( currently I'm doing and internship in an startup where I have role of seo and digital marketing) and in future I want to go into business and entrepreneurship which is my fixed mindset. But for my placement I'm doubtful that i would go for the DSA stuff (I find interest in business analytics but i don't have those companies for on campus placement and I'm just starting to learn it) , can someone help me with this and guid me.

I have applied in many companies but didn’t get any good offer yet. So at this point of time what should I do? I am 24 years old. I graduated in 2021 and had total 13 backlogs during UG and it took me 5 years to complete my degree. I am unemployed since my graduation and have been wasting my time on learning random things or multiple technologies at a same time. 2 months ago I decided to go to Canada for masters and my family supported me, my friend suggested me MS Data Science because he is Data Scientist in Canada. So, I gave IELTS in March and scored 7 band. Recently I had a talk with an Agency named Canam. And they suggested me to get Experience Letter + offer letter + LOR from employer + last 6 months payslip also Backlog Certificate from college but I don't have any of these things. What should I do in this situation? How should I move forward? How can I get my life on track? I'm just confused and not sure what should I do.

I hate working 9 to 5. I simply hate it. I loathe it. I worked so hard all my effing life to get here and I hate it. I learnt DP and what not. It’s been 1.5 years since I started working full time as a software engineer and it just keeps getting worse. 
I make upwards of 15 lpa.
It’s not that I have a bad work environment, it’s great. It’s just that I feel absolutely rotten working a 9 to 5 as a software engineer.

Ideally, I would like to own a small business of my own. Despite watching hours of content on how to do that, I haven’t been able to come up with anything that seems like it’s gonna work, you know…

Thinking of doing an MBA but that’s BS too, right?

It feels like very soon I’m just gonna quit and be broke. 🤷🏼‍♀️
It feels like my life is over at 23. Kill me now.

How can I switch to IT from non IT background after 15 years experience ;)

Hey guys a master's student here . So it's finally that time of year placements have started and the first companies to arrive are the hardware companies like micron , TA etc 

So here's the question is it ok to start your career in these companies considering they are not SDE profiles ? I am aware that the highly specialised roles that these companies offer will end up becoming dead end in longer run . They are offering position only for the masters students 

How difficult would it be to transition into different core cs  companies? 

My coding skills are not that great , still grinding out leetcode ? 

Should I just end up joining these hardware companies or wait and try to crack sde positions ? (The competition is extremely high for those companies and undergrads are great coders)

At present i feel like I’m struck in my career. Was just thinking of upskilling in different areas rather than my current tech (Pega platform- a nocode low code bpm tool) . Its been 2years in same company started as a fresher. I feel like i need to shift to other company but problem is i didn’t upskilled upto the mark in different domains and for shifting in cueerent domain my company is best in market for using pega.
