Confused!

I myself work for a game dev company from 5years. After gaining experience I finally started working on creating my game, in the beginning it was just 2 man work. over time I needed to make the team bigger and within 2 months it became an ambitious project. I now have 12 employees(most of them are my friends hence I am not having to pay a lot) For some of them , it's full time , and for rest it's their 2nd job. I pay directly from my savings account. Dunno why, I registered for Pvt Ltd on my parents name(I can't register on my name since I already work somewhere else)and soon getting it registered as a startup. Since I am compleyely unaware of all these things, What to avoid in the beginning? I am about to get a CA Also I am planning not to add employees under the name of the company for now until the game is released Additionally, What benifits(general/easy) can I get for being startup ? I am also planning to sign up for AWS/GCLOUD startup program so that server cost can be reduced. Any more info that I should be aware of?

So this company posted a job listing on LinkedIn looking for a UX Designer with minimum 1-2 years of experience, who will have to commute to office everyday since it’s an on-site job and will get no work devices from office so he/she will have to bring their own devices too. And the salary they offer? 2.5-4 LPA max including benefits 😂🤣🤣

Hey folks, i hope you all are doing well! I have around 6 yrs of experience now including 6 months of internship in Enterprise Support role for Kubernetes product in a big Product based MNC. I have been in the same company for 5.5 years post my internship, within these 5.5 years I switched to our cloud services team like a DevOps role 2 years back. My role is a Senior Software Engineer but I am not coding much rather its mix of both Operations and Coding sometimes, because of which my development knowledge is rusty and also my DSA too. But I have been able to get things done which are necessary as a part of my daily job. Be it feature development, releases, operations and troubleshooting customer environments. So performance wise I’m doing well I believe. And I’m getting below package. So I got hikes also the package I’m getting is around (35 LPA Fixed + 5 Lacs bonus) have stocks around 10 lacs(just 2.5 lacs per year) Now the main point is even though I’m earning sone money 1] I’m not learning much from the software development perspective and I think work wise I don’t have much experience in pure development, so now I’m stuck how can I make a move to a good unicorn startup as a SDE/SRE? Please suggest any ideas to make such a move. 2] I strongly believe that I’m earning less than what I should be earning after spending 6 yrs in IT. Nowadays 3-4 So now I’m thinking of switching to a different company but again the point [1] comes in my way. 3] How much minimum amount of I should be earning as a base salary, bonus and stocks in a big product MNC or a Bangalore startup ? Looking for advices to learn and which way should I be taking to learn more and get a job where I’ll be doing proper Dev work, please advice on the way to take to do this transition. Thank you!

I am joining new org with 17LPA, I just got to know that my tax slab will be 30%. I never had to think about it for last 2 years because i was with 3.75LPA since 2 years when my career began. How should i start to reduce my taxable income? I watched various yt videos and spoke to some close acquaintances but im not able to understand how to proceed

So I had an organisation as an SDE2 and left it within 4 days as I got a better offer. I did not resign through official channels because I hadn't got access to them yet but I left a proper email trail. Now come tax filing season, I see that the previous org has shown a salary payment to me for two months according to my Form26. This is when I hadn't even updated my bank account with them so I did not receive any salary. What should I do next? Currently tax filing is on hold and I'll be doing a late filing with a penalty.

I’m not talking about companies like Meta, Google or companies that have their branch offices in India. Even Turing has registered India entity to pay employee salaries. For example, take Miro. They have offices in Amsterdam but they don’t have a registered entity/office in India. Can companies like those hire Indian workers and make them work remotely from India? If yes, how would they pay salary? They won’t have official payroll here and without a registered entity they can’t pay PF. How does this salary thing works in this case? And do we have to pay taxes for both the countries? Reason for asking: I was watching “Silicon Valley” and there was an episode where Pied Pieper hires 3 engineers from India, Pak and Europe without having any official offices in those country. How would they pay their salaries? Also, read somewhere on Medium that few people are working this way and getting paid $ equivalent of their salaries. If anyone knows anything about this kindly share info on comments.

I work for a Series A start-up in Bangalore. I have 5 YOE and my current base is 21 LPA and ~5L worth of ESOPs a year. Seeing Grapevine salary charts, I feel I might be underpaid. Should I negotiate or look for other opportunities or is the base I am getting now alright?

And as a IT professional i am working in Banglore where the company is a service based company which is paying me 13.08 LPA . But made compulsory to come to office 2 days a week. My salary slip didn't have any deductions like PF or other perks. Fast forward a year, I decided to move on and resigned.
