Its a good time to think seriously SWITCHING to another career track altogether. Leave SWE, its a breached ship and sinking to dark abyss of irrelevance.

I also user to think like this till last year but now there is all evidence to see that sea of top class sw engineers have been mercilessly kicked out in most insulting manner. Swe is drastically now seen as cost center rather than profit center.
