Decreasing increment%

Since we are seeing a lot of layoffs, a lot of companies are using this as an excuse to provide less increment this year. Interested to know what sort of increments are you’ll getting this year and how much did you get last year?

Folks, I wanted to make a prediction that most of us pretty much know already 2023 our salaries haven’t grown at all. Across my group of friends at work and college, the average amount of increment I heard is close to 5%

Heard the market is back roaring again for some. We are so coming back.

What's the average annual hike at your org ? I know it depends on performance and all, but still there's gotta be range. Asking from a dev standpoint, but would like to know others as well. At my company, it's around 10-15 %(mid size company, not a startup).

While we see a 10 yoe person is getting easily 30L now compared to a dream 10L back then in 2014;Why do we see people complaining about zero or minimal hike this year?Is the goal to say a 10 yoe person should get 50L?Dollar vs INR reasons? Just curious to understand from others and pacify my inner sense:)

Hi guys, TCS Increment this year can Help employees to Buy Britannia Marie biscuits instead of Raja Marie. Hence I've decided to move on. I have an Offer from Accenture (Application Lead) with 40% hike and an Offer from Mindtree (Business Consultant) with 50% hike. Both are Without Variable Components. I'm working at payU payment from 2 years and from last two years they are giving the increments in single digit, is the market is bad ? Last year I got 4% increment I was informed by my manager that company is not doing good same has happened this year again I got only 4% incriment. In my team I have seen people are getting 8-10% also and in other team few have got 12% also, however I feel even 12% is the highest still it seems too low. is this is happening everywhere or it's just payU?
