For the coming cycle, are Google and Microsoft planning to hire interns or FT freshers from on-campus recruitment? Microsoft did a aggressive intern hiring last time. Google went on freeze quite early on. Have things changed in terms of hiring interns and freshers?

Hi Folks,
I applied for L5 MLE at Google Banglore and completed my 3 Coding, 1 ML System Design and Googleyness & Leadership interview before mid-May.
The recruiter communicated the feedback for each round as "GOOD", not revealing the Lean/Strong-Hire counts even after being asked, saying those are for internal only.

For further process, the recruiter communicated that Team Matching could take time as the current openings already have candidates mapped for Team Matching.

I haven't been scheduled for even 1 Team Matching call.
And, on follow-ups, I get the answers "No new updates" or "Nothing so far".

Is this expected, given BLIND is filled with posts reflecting Google is on a hiring spree in Banglore?

Or is this a soft reject?

Or, to a stretch, the hiring season at Google India is over with no new openings? A hiring freeze.

If one has some (2-3 days) overlap in leaving last company and joining of current company thereby making it a case of dual employment... Will it be a problem? I am a final year student currently working as SWE intern at a startup. It’s been around 8 months here. Probably they’ll give me a PPO, but since the market situations are not good I am a bit unsure about it.

Looking for a fresher role

I am not able to decide which one to choose. The Groww internship is guaranteed that if I perform well I will get PPO(15 LPA) and swiggy one is dicy if even it does have PPO. Since only one more month is left for my graduation, taking any of these internships will require me to leave the FTE offer. Any suggestions fellow developers??

I have done a 6M internship at Amazon but Amazon didn't convert any single 6M intern to full time employee even got a hire call from the manager. But Amazon has given the ppo to 2024 grad. Now Companies has started hiring only 2024 grad.

No one giving the shit about my internship. Companies/startups are not considering that as experience, then why they are hiring intern?

I applied to many companies even with referrals but  none of them sent me a single test link. Big tech giants are done hiring with 2023 grads. Some are hiring but only to female candidates.

Indian startups are the worst. they just wanted a guy who has all the knowledge according to their business model, doesn't matter how skilled you are.
Anyone can learn new things in small period of time but Indian startups... I don't know what they are thinking. In such things mnc is good atleast they are not doing such shitty things to fresher.

If I have done 6M internship at Amazon and got the hiring decision from manager, this doesn't imply that I have capabilities to work as a Developer? If anyone is able to deliver tasks in a company like Amazon where almost everything is new on which an intern is about to work then I don't think he will not be able to work in any other organisation.

I was interning at Microsoft, when a Google recruiter reached out to me for interview 2025 new grad role. I had 3 days to prepare and I had 3 rounds. All the rounds went okay. But I still haven't received any update even after emailing them twice. I don't understand whether I'm rejected or not. What should I do?

Hello I'm from a tier 3 college from India (currently sem 4 btech)
I currently have 3 backlogs from first year as i messed up and none from then but gpa was quite low currently 6.2 (currently doing 1 backlog)
And JP Morgan came for my college and the minimum requirements is 7.5gpa and no backlogs
Can someone suggest me if u have any backlogs how u same across it and solved it.. all my friends are eligible  which makes me kinda sad 
If everything goes wrong maybe I'll try to into indie game dev 
But for now i feel like I have to go into market and then start omw that's why 🥲

Can anybody working at Google India, throw some light on what’s happening with Hiring. Seeing some posts related to layoff, people interviewing, people getting ghosted by recruiters after interviews. I’ve seen few people waiting for their interview feedback for few weeks after completing their all interview rounds. Is google going to stop hiring or there are too many candidates applying?
