I checked their site for the first time. I think the target audience are cab drivers and weird people who would listen to this shit instead of some music. You make money probably by spamming radio ads. Idk how that shit is worth so much.

The problem with all these tier2+ targeted products is that the users don't easily open up their wallets. As seen in Meesho, Apna, etc. I wonder how is PocketFM tackling the monetization problem

It's not really working. They had this funding in Oct itself, announced now because there were a series of controversies and they are doing PR to assuage that. Who have they hired for the job? The same guy who was promoting Messi's association with Byjus. Everyone knows where they are today. Not long before this one bites the dust as well.

They seem to be hiring massively and the way recruiters are painting a picture, it all sounds too good to be true. It's really feels like a black box for now.
