Does having post view count make sense?

When twitter showcases view counts, it makes sense given they have a large DAU and a good chunk of advertisers. Want to understand from the community on their thoughts behind a post view count given the DAU on this app aren’t the highest yet.

I barely know anyone using it; how do they such a high MAU? Is it because of dark patterns within insta by which they are able to maintain their MAU? I would be wy more interested in knowing avg time spent per user especially if it is trying to compete with x/twitter.

We have spent almost 💵 Rs 2 crore+ on Facebook Ads for generating app downloads ⬇️ and successfully generated 🙃 100k+ download for our app but TBH we have 0 DAU as of now.
