Dogs are the worst - why do we put up with these animals
The kid could not eat anything for two days due to severe injuries in the jawline.

Op looks at hitler, Op: Humans are the worst - why do we put up with these animals
The Nazis were put on trial and hanged.
In India, if you move a dog to a shelter - heck even if the corporation comes in for a sterilisation drives - people like you will call the police on them for animal cruelty.
Rabies doesn't have a cure. The humane answer to an animal with rabies is to euthanise them. That's illegal in India.
Your analogy is beyond rubbish.
In western liberal countries with human rights regimes and animal cruelty prevention laws - if a pet dog attacks a human twice, it's put down.
They don't have an animal problem. We do. But somehow we're the savages for wanting our kids to not get mauled when they go out to play.

Simplifying complicated situations like these to just - Dogs are the worst is easy.
Emphasizing with animals, going to root cause, pointing out govts/individuals lack of responsibility is ofcourse hard.
No animal - harms anyone else unless they are
1. hungry
2. Irritated or beaten up
Animals do not operate on a selfish attitude like you and me.
Now dog population is increasing - what can be the reasons or cure for that
1. Rehabilitation
2. Sterilisation
3. Adoption instead of buying
Not giving them food ( Blaming it on woke auntie is absolute worst btw). WHY
1. That will just make the dog population more ferocious and they will also suffer more. Why would anyone want that? SUFFERING OF THEM AND OURS
2. This solution is equivalent to don't feed the poor, let them die of hunger so that they dont breed - REALLY?
I feel really sorry for the kid here, cant imagine my distress if that would have been my kid. But simply painting something as evil is never the solution. We very well know what have humans done to animals altogether, if there will ever be a judgement day, all of humanity should go to absolute hell

Now going into this particular case or any other case, if the community could have taken care of the dogs ( takes like 1 day in 1 year ) to get sterilisation and vaccination done, they would not breed and slowly population will decrease.
Giving food to animals was always incorporated in our culture, it still is in villages. There are rarely such cases in villages because people though might be poor there, they empathise with animals, they haven't lost the human touch, hell there is a village somewhere in Africa where villagers feed and take care of hyenas. You will see hyenas walking by newly born kids, not touching them at all.
When we say - Dogs are Menace, lets fucking kill them all. What we mean is - i am the most supreme and busiest in all of nature. I have no time and no interest about wellbeing of others. I cannot do deep thinking into a problem like this, instead will propose violent solutions. I cant see the soul in other creatures eyes.
Personal experience - wife ran an ngo for rescuing animals, we have adopted an indie, not able to feed animals regularly hence donate to rescue organisations. Also sponsor meals for rescued animals whenever there is a birthday/anniversary.

It is said humans were created in god image to share love and do good work. We are bestowed with an intelligent mind and endless capabilities to do good for all - fellow humans and other creatures

Street dog issues have always been there. But now it has gone pervasive. The city street dog problem is a gift from woke liberal aunties.

I like dogs as pets and I personally feel bad for strays.. But we need to collectively get rid of stray dogs and even cats. That's how developed and civilized countries do it. Stray dogs, cats and cows are not meant to be in public places.
