Depends on the company mindset and resources. 
  
 Some companies who are resourceful take bonds, not joining competition clauses etc very strictly and go for legal steps if employees do not adhere to it. 
  
 And any signed document (contract) in the valid (legal) language can be held true in the legal system. 
  
 So don't get fooled by what the shark of season 1 says about the notice period, bonds, etc. 
  
 If you have signed it then you are legally bound to adhere to it.

Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out for advice on a challenging situation I'm facing regarding my employment bond. Here's what happened:

During my college placement, I was selected by a company for a developer role with a promised CTC of 3 LPA. Two days later, I was called to their office where the HR informed me that the CTC was "up to" 3 LPA, not exactly 3 LPA. Despite this, I accepted the offer and signed a bond for two years (including a six-month internship), also providing a cheque for 1 Lac as a security deposit.

Now, as my internship is nearing completion, there's a final review meeting scheduled where they will restructure the CTC. During my internship, I learned from existing employees that the company is notorious for poor salary growth and minimal hikes. I feel trapped by the "up to" scheme and am worried about my future with this company.

I'm seeking advice on how to navigate this situation and, if possible, save my 1 Lac cheque. Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.

The irony of this!! The places which didn't bother about such certifications were so much better in their policies and employee first culture. No fucks given to any external validation.. just casually going about their business and letting the employees become their ambassador for postive word of mouth.

Back in 2021, I joined a small company as a fresher with a promised CTC of 3.2 LPA and a 3-year bond. However, after joining, I discovered the actual base pay was only 1.8 LPA, and my monthly salary was just 10,500₹. So, after five months, I broke the bond and joined Accenture. 

Now, almost three years later, the previous company's advocates are sending me notices demanding 3 lakh rupees as bond repayment, and I even received a notice from the civil court yesterday. 

I'm not sure what to do next. 
Do you think this will affect my future job prospects? 

I have records of that company in my PF account, but I don't consider it as part of my work experience. 

Do you think future employers will ask for documentation for all companies listed in my PF records?

Some context.
Worked at an early stage startup around 1.5 years ago. This startup works in the Computer Vision space and does a lot of experiments(no direction at all, will take some project from some fintech company one day, some project from healthcare, and then some project from some random company, basically these go nowhere), I worked with one of the projects that involved document processing and it got some revenue.

At my last day, I was made to sign some agreement which included non compete.

1.5 hears later, today, I’ve joined a startup that works in FinTech domain and has been doing pretty good, and they sent a BGV check to my previous employer, and those guys are saying they won’t do BGV and that I’m violating the non compete agreement. They think entire world is their competitor, honestly, they’re nothing and no one even gives a fuck about their existence.

What can I do here?

Hi to all the working professionals,
Kindly help me with some advice.
I am currently working in a Fintech company(IT) for last 2 years. The work environment here is quite toxic and I am under a bond which ends after 6 more months. But now I feel the water has crossed the line and I am not able to bear the toxicity and pressure. I can't pay the bond amount but rather I can't even stay here anymore. 
I am thinking of absconding them.
Will it really affect my career and will getting jobs get difficult? Considering I have a good skill set.

I resigned from TCS after serving for about 11 month just 1 month short of 12 month bond period of 50k
They want to me pay somewhere around 48k adjusted with leave available at that time. It's been more than 2 years now. I received a notice from a third party law firm ( not court ) asking to pay a bond amount which is around 48k + interest @18%.
What can be done in this scenario also my monthly payment was around 22k at TCS It seems they want to take all what they gave me no value for my 11 month of work.When i look back I don't see any good of joining TCS it is very frustrating. They did not send any court notice but if they go without sending after  sometime at this rate of @18 they gonna ask my personal property this is the best business model i think as of now I don't know which FD or mutual fund gives 18 % return.
