Fellow born brudders and sisters, what makes you choose US over EU/Canada?
Apart from salaries, what are some compelling reasons that make you prefer US over EU/Canada inspite of immigration hurdles that's akin to walking on egg shells? What's your rationale behind not pursuing opportunities in Europe or Canada where it's possible to get a similar quality of life, lesser immigration related headaches, better work life balance, healthcare that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet, etc.
Money. I have heard EU is racist. US is the best if you don't want to experience racism or keep it nearly to zero.

Which country?
In my case, i came here for just better opportunity to learn. I was in India, reached out by a manager . Gave interview and was hired. I was shocked, talked to my parents if they're ok as i was not sure. I am first in my family to go out of India. Ultimately there were great opportunities to learn, found amazing wife, helped brother's higher education by paying his college fee (moving to usa enabled this). My brother came to usa and joined Google. My wife work in Amazon and i have whole new family here. It started with just an opportunity out of no where and changed whole life
The equation to me is simple. I'm giving up a lot of family bonds and risk my kids being foreigner wherever I go outside of India. So may as well juice it for it and got to USA for higher pay.
Why not try and improve India if you feel uncomfortable outside of it? Too huge of a boat to turn?

You have one life, either make the best of it (in US/Europe) or keep fighting in a place where money and connections matter more than hard work.
My brother migrated to Canada and this is firsthand account from him, Canada seems lucrative only from PR/citizenship perspective. Besides that pay is bad compared to US and cost of living has gone up incredibly. He suggested to me that moving to Canada is like moving from village to Tier 2 city, its good but not great, either strive for best in your country by joining top MNCs or work hard to get to USA
