Future of Fintech in india

What's future of fintech in India? At the end of day everyone is eyeing lending as a segment but underwriting using new criteria for serving undeserved market itself looks non sustainable due to risk of defaults. Add regulatory interventions makes things more complex. Do you guys see any new area emerging or any untapped/undertapped segments

I want to see faster refunds and wallet withdrawal. Money gets debited from our account almost instantly when we buy stuff. But when we request refund it takes 2-3 business days or more. This needs to change and it will reduce a lot of customer friction.

Razorpay already did this. They process refunds in a matter of hours. But it should be faster than that. ECommerce will flourish with just this one feature.

Say you add money to Groww wallet. And you want to withdraw some of it back. It takes 2 working days to process that.

Fintech is deadend business. Most fintechs will die. The ones that have a good upi market share will probably survive. Most fintechs are fancy boys club they have not seen a minor difficult situation, won't last a single recession.
