GRE at home vs at test centre?
I'm planning to give GRE in next few weeks, but the test center is not present in my city. Should I opt for GRE at home test? Like what happens in case of internet connectivity issue? Can anyone share their experience?
GRE at the center for sure. Because, there’s less anxiety about your scores being cancelled if you take at home.
Also, I personally felt I was more in flow at the center. I scored a 325(167Q/158V) on my attempt, whereas my max mock score was 320.

Thanks for the reply, are you going for masters?
Nope, I had given it at the end of my third year just in case. Had a month to prepare. Used GregMat and Bought official GRE mocks from ETS.

Imo better to give it at a centre, you're already paying so much for the exam, might as well pay a little more for travelling.
Many things can go wrong with home test, and they're not accountable to you. Plus, some colleges don't even consider home test scores.

i gave the gre at a centre a few weeks ago - very smooth and simple process. the at home gre requires you to have a bunch of processes in place - specific sheets, whiteboards, internet connectivity etc, which distract from the focus of just giving the test.
