On July 4th, i was supposed to give me GRE exam for higher studies. At the scheduled time of 11 am, i was all set to give my exam and i started it. But the ETS browser ended up not running on my laptop(Omen 15). 

I finally arranged a new laptop and started the exam. By now the time was 3pm. When i entered the exam lobby, it showed that your appointment time is gone so you cannot give the exam. The proctoru person told me to mail ETS and move on with rescheduling.

I called them and they said that they will investigate the situation and then they will think whether i can give the exam or i have to pay again and then give the exam.

Can anyone please guide me on what to expect from them at last because 22550 is not a small amount to let go of just like that. I am scared that all of my money will be forfeit and i have to pay again and then give the exam.

1. Leave early if the work for that day is done
2. No pings and calls post work hours, there are always exceptions and thats okay, should not become a norm
3. Respecting when someone is in vacation and not disturbing them.
4. Not rejecting leaves

my_qualification: B.Tech IT from tier-3 college. 70%
I am 24 years old. I graduated in 2021 and had total 13 backlogs during UG and it took me 5 years to complete my degree. I am unemployed since my graduation and have been wasting my time on learning random things or multiple technologies at a same time. 2 months ago I decided to go to Canada for masters and my family supported me, my friend suggested me MS Data Science because he is Data Scientist in Canada. So, I gave IELTS in March and scored 7 band. Recently I had a talk with an Agency named Canam. And they suggested me to get Experience Letter + offer letter + LOR from employer + last 6 months payslip also Backlog Certificate from college but I don't have any of these things. What should I do in this situation? How should I move forward? How can I get my life on track? I'm just confused and not sure what should I do.

I'm a little confused if i should focus on preparing for IELTS/ TOEFL/ GRE or all 3.

So I’m working on a 3rd party payroll and yesterday I got a call from them that it’s my last working day in Oracle and I don’t have to serve my notice period. They told me that their client (Oracle) emailed them and informed that my project got over. 
I got a little suspicious 2 days back when my manager asked me to submit my laptop for some security testing and said that i will get it back after 2 day. Everything was fine I even got my salary increment letter the day before yesterday (17th). I’m shocked I haven’t got any answers from anyone. I tried calling my manager neither is he answering my calls nor texts. I’m super frustrated idk what to do.

I am very messed up regarding my career. Due to the recession, I was working as a business development intern at a company named Weskill. But the company turned out to be a fraud and the the company CEO was a playboy so I left the company. Now I am in the last semester of my graduation and I am unemployed.

I am preparing for the GRE and looking for colleges out of India to give myself a new start.

Please guide me on what I should do next and what not. Like am I on the right track?

Yeah the title is pretty much the whole story,

Recently i gave a technical plus coding assessment for Accenture (Associate software engineer) and then i came forward with the coding assessment, i kid you not it was the most easiest assessment i have ever seen in my life.

That's maybe because i have improved since college but still it was very easy that i felt something was off (my life is tragic so i get surprised if something good comes up).

So there i was happy to finish the test in 15 mins and 30 minutes left to spare, i even re-checked the code i have written 2-3 times (first time i have re-checked something).

It was all good and i even tested using my own custom inputs. Worked absolutely amazing. But then i clicked the submit button in their "Secure Exam Browser" and after 2 mins i got a error of 504.

I enquired about this from a chatbot and candidate support but all they could say was to wait for the company's response and guess what the response was.

You have been disqualified for not performing well in the coding assessment.

I know in these things I don't have any control over but that what's makes me angry that a error in a company's created browser specially for the exam or assessment gets a error for that particular usage .... Like wow

I would appreciate someone from Accenture to just make this logical for me.

(Let me know if anyone wants to know the questions, i promise you will laugh at it.)

I am holding an offer from EY gds india for the position of 
Senior Consultant, they provided me joining date as 15 july 
Whereas my notice period end on 25 july.
Have ask hr to revise the same he told me , try if you can 
Negotiate the notice period in current org ,if not then drop us
An email after the month will revise the joining date .
Is this normal?
As I already resigned in my current organisation so little bit worried About this ,as HR person is hardly reply (as usual)

I secured an on campus offer at the starting of placements and my offer got revoked 15days before the joining and i am left with no options now, lost many good opportunities on campus. As i was already placed my tpo cell didn’t allow me to sit for other companies. So confused now. Now not many companies visiting college and the offer was 15Lpa. It was of 4rounds. Bit scared now as i was relaxed after the offer and stipped dsa. Now i have started again. But still so much confusion going on.

Few weeks watched a reel from a famous influencer about this app where he shared the benefits one can gain from it and i did download the app and tried to open it and yet the app didn’t open even after my multiple tries so I uninstalled the app. 

Today, i did try to install it once again as i had to do my mobile phone recharge. 
I added the money to the wallet (3k) and then went on to do the recharge.
My recharge wasn’t successful and yet the money got deducted from the wallet. 
I have lost my 3k.

I did complain about it and still there is no response from their end. 
I even tried to call the helpline number and yet no response. 

Can anyone help me what to do now in such cases?
Can i get my hard earned money back?

Please share your knowledge and help me with it.

I have lately realised that many people have fallen for this scam and have lost their money. 

I don’t know how come PlayStore still allow such apps to run such scams.

Hi folks, recently got selected for Amazon mlhs role for a contract of 12 months but I'm not sure whether it is legit job....I was told my joining date was in 2nd September and my onboarding and background verification were already completed...now suddenly hr mailed that my joining date postponed to 30th September!!!! I got no clue...I even had received the IT equipment....they did not contact through any mail nor the manager informed anything...out of the blue hr is saying my bgv is pending where I can clearly see all are complete in their portal....even send mail to them with screenshot but no reply.....seeking help ....as been liad off since 7 months already so desperately need this job

Hi, 24M working in one of the WITCH having 1.3 years of experience total. I've graduated from Tier-3 engineering college in 2021. Last year joined through off campus. I have worked on two short term projects, one is Migration and done basic scripting as development experience there, In second one done manual testing work. In March this year, my second project got completed and I got release from project. I was on bench for few days after that I got a support project which initially i thought I can do some enhancement work here, but utter disappointment this project is, 97% tickets here are Access requests and maximum work of 2 hrs daily. I don nothing apart from mailing clients n shiet and sometimes call with clients. I got frustrated because of this.

Now, If I ask for release from this project now, will they accept it? Or will it impact my year end rating, I'm getting afraid now. Please help me what should I do.
