There was so much hype that was being sold that GPT 4 would take all the jobs, people will be homeless and the world is going to reset into a Terminator-esque dark world.

The stupid thing can't even read the API documentation and help me in coding. I just wanted a copilot that could learn the harrowing API from docs and suggest what to do quickly. It read everything and generated a turd of a result. It couldn't even replicate samples I fed in earlier.

Image generation is gated at 40 messages per 3 hours on PRO subscription. Why TF did I pay $20+ to get this thing which can't do simple stuff? It still generates images with cross eyes, wrong fingers and in some cases sexualizes stuff unnecessarily. It feels more like I'm training DALL-E than using it.

What is the proper way of creating a helper? I subscribed and now I have buyer's remorse.

I am using chatgpt where i post the Job description and attach my resume ask chat gpt to evaluate if my resume is good enough to get selected it or not and you won’t results are way crazy its amazingly very useful.

- Midjourney - just for fun, I like generating art for my random ideas

What AI subscriptions do you have?

I have around 8 years of active development work experience across multiple stacks, both front end and backend. From past 6 months I have been using GPT as assistant and must say it’s getting dangerously perfect . 
We are now able to do projects at almost half the cost. There has literally been no hiring done for 6 months without affecting productivity a bit. 

I wonder how many days before it takes over half the jobs in tech including mine.

I am using chatgpt-4, paid subscription and would say that it just works good and helps me increase productivity at work. (i work in equity research and model validation profiles).
Recently after Geminis Pro launch, i took their 2 months free trial to see how useful gemini is.

While working with chatgpt-4, i have used bard several times as a kind of second opinion.
However after using Gemini Pro, i think it is far from chatgpt-4 in several ways, it might be better at comprehension sometimes than chatgpt, but it has several issues.

No option to upload pdf or csv or anything. Often tells that it can't write code while gemini pro claims it can.
For pdf it tells that pls upload to drive and share link, but then refuse saying it doesn't have capabilities to read links. So, in all, gemini is not up to the mark.

I was also ready to pay second subscription for gemini if it helped, but, still far.
Anyone of you have any thoughts on this?
Any tricks for gemini to make it work better if i am missing something here.

A project deadline was missed and project manager called team(10people) and infront of them he completed the project not alone but taking help of chatgpt and 4 of 10.
"So u see 6 can be replaced anyday" he told .
