Small and easier tasks will get automated. So work like scripting, analytics will see a large degree of automation. Junior roles like data analyst/scientist and entry level software engineer will also see a similar degree of automation. Basically get better at what you do and expand your knowledge and work context window and scoping to be better than a machine.

The entire way software works will change. Software would get more voice operated and UI will change drastically. Copilot is not that bad now itself. AI will do PR reviews and will start to fix small bugs. More QA operation will be induced by AI. Major decision and supervision will be left to humans.

When NC/LC tools made it big, every one was like - who needs to learn Java/.net/Python etc, we’ll just drag and drop stuff.

I see the same over confidence with ChatGPT. The amount of nonsense self created functions it creates is crazy.
