1st point happened recently.. They asked in Hr round why you were resigning so early. I responded in a casual tone like.. 
 " I didn't resign yet!! But yes ,you guys reached out to me, and I felt it was a good opportunity." 
 The guy took it in the wrong way,I guess,no response after the Hr interview. 
  
 I also fucked up Qualcomm HR interview like this,this was in 2018 ,young blood was brutally honest.Hr interview started on a lift on 7th floor asked about me and some stuff.. then final question .why are you leaving so early 
 My answer: "I don't like my role and I don't wanna grow in this domain(banking)". Doors opened and she said thankyou. She was on call while I was leaving and heard her saying she didn't like this answer to someone.

Hey all, idk what's been happening recently but I'm not able to clear any interviews, ig I mess up in managerial type questions due to nervousness and then the whole thing goes down, it's been 2.5 years since I've been working but now I feel so demotivated that I've been thinking of leaving tech. How to prepare for Product Manager Interview?

Role - Cloud Support Engineer

Cleared tech rounds and 2 leadership rounds are remaining. They are going to be for 1 hour each with senior folks holding 20 and 6 years of experience respectively. Will be having such rounds for the first time ever. Not sure what all will be in it for an entire hour! One of them is probably a Bar raiser.

Unlike tech rounds where you have to just keep answering the questions that come your way here it might be the case that I'll have to keep speaking on the scenario in detail for the entire time in STAR format.

I just know that I need to know the meaning of leadership principles correctly and have a real example from my journey. But I might not have experienced such a scenario relating to all principles. So maybe I'll have to make some examples. Also, I'm being told that I shouldn't repeat anything. How to have so many real relatable examples?

Important is to be ready to answer all questions on what I said.

It seems very very tricky to answer them in such a way that it is correct and also convinces them very well.

What would be some good questions to ask interviewers of these rounds?

I've interviewed with multiple companies, and I'm starting to notice a pattern. 

Interviewers who:
- Have their cameras off
- Show up in old t-shirts, looking like they haven't washed their face or combed their hair
- Roll their eyes when the answer isn't what they wanted to hear
- Fidget around when you are speaking
- Look anywhere but at the camera
- Give in to itches all over the body 👀 
among many others 

If we as interviewees are expected to be presentable and excited, the least interviewers could do is put in a little effort to appear decent and engaged.

Interviewed with Agoda for Lead/Staff Full Stack role and cleared their coding, design, architecture and a special round called coding+architecture. The interview went well as per my assesment. But finally a rejection mail saying they moved with other candidates. They even asked about the ECTC (before coding +architecture round) and also asked details about relocation to Bangkok assuring that I have almost cleared interview for Staff role and final round ie was coding + architecture was meant for deciding  b/w lead and staff role. What could be reason behind this. Preferably would like to hear from someone who had similar experience with Agoda.

Recently set out to hire interns and had a really strange experience

Went through about 170 CVs. Most were shabbily formatted - which is okay, I understand most people aren’t that serious in college.

But then after shortlisting and setting up interviews:
- Multiple kids just did not show up for the interview. They did not even write a mail excusing themselves. Or reply to any mail from me about them missing the call.

- Some of them literally turned up for the call on their phone. They’re mostly well to do, and definitely have laptops. But just casual. 

- This reduced my selection pool to literally 8-9 interns from 180. Of these too, generally saw most of them had too much overconfidence and arrogance about them. Barely went into the depth of the answers, and would over-portray their contribution in past projects/internships, without being able to explain what they really did

I am genuinely shocked and taken aback. These were all Tier 1 college kids, and I just did not expect it to be so bad. A shock for me, and a future shock for many of these kids when they get into the workforce!

College kids have a reality shock waiting for them

Come to Tier 3 colleges, they are very humble and hardworking 😊
