I was chilling with my young cousin last week. He is 22. It was around midnight and we both felt a little hungry. I told him there isn’t a need to order food from outside and I’ll get him something crazy. 

I decided to whip up one of my loved Maggi recipes with extra spice, veggies and chicken meatballs. He ate it but told me and I quote, ‘Thanks bro but I’m a Ramen Lover’. 

I thought everyone has a Maggi story/memory. Turns out not anymore. Have people gotten over Maggi? What is this Ramen trend man? Have you switched?

I’ll go first, getting that old PSP, the one which had WiFi in built. Or maybe PlayStation 2 which was like 5k-6k back then.

Now, I could get a PS5 or buy games to play on my PC, but the feeling is lost. Just like my childhood.

I guess I lived a part of my childhood today. Went on a walk and had a Cornetto IceCream, which back then I didn’t have the money for and had to buy an Orange/Cola IceCream. Then, I walked around my society.

Saw a few kids playing football and instantly teleported back to when I was a kid.

Now that child is gone and the dream has too. 
But still, it feels good remembering that 5 year old me would be proud of adult me, and that’s what truly matters. 🥰

I made this exact post 1 year back and it reminded me of how far I’ve come. I hope it makes you feel that too. ❤️

[Thread] Did you have a wish as a kid that went unfulfilled that now you can afford but don’t have the same interest anymore?

When I was a child, I was a foodie and loved street food, but we couldn't afford it most times(Unfair life/ rough times). I remember how special it was when my mom occasionally brought me my favorite street food, 'Samosa.' Those moments were the best.

Now, I earn a decent amount and can afford things for myself and my family. I often buy my mom her favorite treats, but I personally don't enjoy anything like I used to. Sometimes, I think about going out to have a Samosa or other fast food, but then I worry about hygiene or diseases. I've never drunk or smoked; the only thing I loved was street food. But now that I can afford anything, I don't feel like eating it.

As a child, I used to dream of earning a lot of money one day. Now, it seems like money is the only thing I care about.

I wish I could be that child again, who was happy just to get an occasional Samosa.

It feels like I matured too soon, which I didn't want. I want to eat my favorite food sometimes without thinking about anything else, just savoring the moment and the nostalgia. I don't know how to get that feeling back.
