Help me figure this out because up till now it seems like all my decisions were wrong.

New job, new city, fresher.
Found a single occupancy in a pre occupied 2BHK in my budget, and as per my preferences. Had to shift in the middle of the month. Since the room I am supposed to get is occupied by someone else(X), the landlord suggested that I adjust in the hall area for the half month and then I would shift to the room from October. 
I was okay with this, and under the impression that X is also okay with this arrangement. Mind that X is not present in the flat, X has been away since a month. The other two flatmates (Y, Z) in the other room are also okay with this. 
I have given deposit of 20k to the landlord. 
Now X comes back today, starts a fight with me straightaway, starts throwing my things. X says that the hall is common space and since X is paying rent I cannot be there, X only wants their friend to take that room, and a million other things. X is the most problematic person I've ever come across. Bhagwaan jane kaun isse shadi karega. Y, Z back me up. We speak to the landlord and he scolds X. 
Now although X has verbally agreed to moving out at the end of the month, what if X refuses to move out? Mera toh agreement bhi nahi bana hai.. 
I should prolly start looking for flats 😵

Shifted to Bangalore a couple of months ago, in a flat with 3 other folks

It’s been mostly nice, but the lack of cooperation with respect to food is a deep pain point

One guy is a vegetarian, another wants to eat unhealthy, someone wants to eat just rice for every frickin meal

All in all, as somebody who just wants to eat basic chicken and boiled eggs or just some basic sabzi (oh btw, nobody eats vegetables, amazing) - I’m really caught between a rock and a hard place

They’re chilled dudes, I’ve tried to bring it up also, but nobody ever lets anything stick or be followed. 

Gonna do an intervention tonight, wish me luck folks ✌️

If anybody has experience dealing with flatmates and food, please guide. Am I doing anything wrong?

So today, maybe out of nowhere, I decided to move up my laziest ass to cook a curry for the first time alone instead of ordering from outside. I asked a very dear friend for help. I could watch YT but didn't because I trust that person.
An expert could prepare the curry in less than 25 mins, and I know I'll take more time than that.
During the process, I was sweating like hell, didn't give up anywhere while sharing updates with the friend.
Finished cooking, realised I'm not bad at this.
Taste: I cried for being spicy than being proud. I learnt few things after eating and tried figuring out the mistakes.

While doing this, there was some different kind of happy feeling.
Hope I cook better for happiness 😊

My first curry is Shahi Paneer
