I got the confirmation about my tentative selection for the position. But HR said he will reach out soon but its been 6 days, he hasn’t reached out! I wrote him a message but no replies either.

He asked for my payslips, offer letter, and increment letter but has not responded yet. I was due for discussions for my salary which have not happened yet! Shall I move on or wait for this? Is there any hope?

Yesterday I have completed my interview with Accenture and today the candidature status is updated as Interview Completed and received an email 
"We're excited that you've reached the next milestone in your recruitment journey at Accenture."

Does this mean I am selected in the 1st round and moving to the next one or should it be a general process of hiring? Can someone please confirm me about it?

I had a very positive interview experience with one of the firms. I had cleared 3 rounds and my final round was a culture round with HR head and few colleagues from other departments. 

We had a very fruitful and fun conversation as well throughout the call.

But after that it's been 3 weeks and they haven't contacted me or even sent a rejection mail. Not sure how to go about this, I have sent the HR a mail too to check on any updates. Any advice on how should I proceed?

I'll go first. I got a call for an APM role from one of the companies which did sound pretty sketchy and the recruiter was started bullying me into answering questions, when I asked to know more about the role. The recruiter was extremely unprofessional, and obviously the conversation was nowhere great. They however, did go ahead and sent me the JD and other links, etc to fill in and apply for the job. Mind you, I hadn't applied for the job. 🥲
It just was a pretty sour conversation which had left me in an uncertain situation. Any similar experiences?

Weird recruiter experiences

Asked for my expected CTC. I answered and they weren't happy with it. Said they could only give at 40% increment of current CTC and then asked for my current CTC. After hearing my current CTC they said I shouldn't be earning this much and that I was obviously making it up. Then asked to send over my salary payslip which I refused. Basically the HR started being extremely rude at this point stating that I was being unprofessional. I asked their salary budget for the role which they refused to answer. Then I asked if they were willing to hire me for a lower CTC which she instantly agreed and said she knew I was reasonable and I shouldn't have lied about my CTC. I then said good luck finding a candidate for that amount and hung up.

I am 22M, completed BE in computer Engineering.  Upon completion of graduation (May 2023), I worked as an ML engineer (internship); fast forward to December 2023, I had interview scheduled for ML position (off-campus) at reputed company (non-IT), which I passed and after interview in December, I was told to wait for offer letter. Actually, I was referred by the employee of the company. So, till the end of January, I did not receive any update from company regarding offer letter. I asked a person who referred me, he told me that HR has been changed and due to that reason, your onboarding process might be on hold. However, In February new HR got hired and I literally left the hope to receive callback from the company, but after some time I received call from new HR, and again scheduled interview with same manager with whom I was previously interviewed. Manager was quite satisfied with me and asked me If I was ready to join as soon as possible. I assured him to join ASAP. After this interview also I was eagerly waiting for the offer letter; Again, left the hope of receiving any response. However, now it was a beginning of March, and one day I received call from HR, asking for my documents, to release the offer letter. Now it's almost mid-March and again no callback from HR, and no update regarding my joining. It's a journey of 4 months. I never wrote a follow-up mail to HR or manager regarding, onboarding process. Till now I was just asking my referee regarding any updates. It seems cumbersome to him also to ask manager repeatedly regarding my offer-letter. Should I write follow-up mail to either HR or manager. If yes, what should I mention in it?

I have cleared all technical rounds, on 12th June I had HR round also. HR asked me to share all past company release letters and graduation marksheets. I have shared all the documents. HR also confirmed my package over the teams call and assured that he would send the offer letter. But after that 6 days have passed, I have neither received any communication, nor have I received any offer letter. Typically how much time will they take to release the offer letter?

In the last 3 months, I have appeared for PM interviews for three major startups. After collectively going through 12 interviews (3 of them in person) and 2 assignments - I have nothing to show for. The position just evaporates AFTER the whole process has been done. In one of the cases, HR also collected all the necessary documents like salary slips, appointment letter from current org and the likes and asked me put down my papers over a verbal commitment. Good thing I didn't do that. 

It's so ridiculous that these so called unicorns can't even do one little hiring correctly. And how it's even possible to initiate hiring if they don't even have the clarity on whether they want to hire or not? Idk if it's the consequence of a shitty job market or it's my luck. Just feeling extremely frustrated because there's nothing I can do about it. I clear all the interviews and do the assignments perfectly - what else I can do? 

HRs don't even have the guts to apprise me proactively. They'll just stall releasing of the offer letter for weeks and stop taking your calls. One fine day when they finally decide to spare some of their holy time - it's usually a one line response: Position went on a hold, will let you know. Bye. 

Indian job market is really the worst. Absolutely zero ethics and no value for anyone's time.

Hi, I gave interview in Deloitte on 22nd April but I dint get any update after that. Later I called HR to know my update, on 2nd May he confirmed that I’m selected & my name is freezed in system as selected and hiring is freezed for my position. But he said that further communication will happen after 10 days only so around 10th may HR will call for further process he mentioned. Does Deloitte takes so much of time to release offer letter?? Any idea about how many days does deloitte take to release offer letter?

I got offer from Capgemini, joining date is 31st May.
My last working day in current organization is also 31st May, I requested for next day 3rd June to Capgemini. 
It's hired for the HSBC client. 
I have put down my paper and now Capgemini Is saying I have to join to 31st May itself or the offer will be revoked. 
I tried to convince Cognizant my lwd was 3rd June so It preponed to 31st May still Capgemini HR is not picking up the phone and has no answer.

What Should I do?

Hello good folks of grapevine!

So, I resigned from my last job last year in November. As per the company policy I was promised that my F&F will be settled 45 days after my last working day which happens to be the first week of Jan'24.

For some reason the signed documents got delayed from my end by 10 days. It's been more than one and a half months now and my F&F is still not credited. I keep calling the HR and that bitch literally gives me the same shit over and over again that "the signature from the CFO is pending".

I'm really confused about what to do. Is posting on LinkedIn a good idea or will it affect my career? The amount is significant, hence I don't want to risk it. 

In case there is a legal procedure to this, what are the next steps? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

F&F not getting settled, what to do?

So I had 2 rounds of interviews last week with Deloitte for a marketing analyst role. The interviews went well and I was told that I would get feedback by EOD that day. 

The HR on the meet told me to drop off. In 30 mins I got an email saying it's taking some time to proceed further and they are reviewing all cases with hiring manager.

I tried calling HR back but they didn't respond. 

Now how should I consider this situation? Am I rejected or does Deloitte take some time to analyse all the candidates? And if so how much time should I expect?

Hi folks, I have got offer from both Accenture and EY GDS. I have accepted the offer from Accenture but haven't accepted the EY offer yet as they provided it last week. EY have just matched the Accenture offer that also with fixed compensation showing no exact ctc. I am a little confused if I should accept the offer from EY as well.

Note - 1. Both have the same location.
2. same compensation 
3. Both low balled me

My tech stack is python having overall 6.2 yoe. I still have 2 months left for my notice period to end but confused on should I accept EY offer as well.
