Suppose I click the "Share" button but don't share the post link, then also the number beside the share button increases. I believe you can't detect if someone shared it or not, but I told you because I think you should know about it.

I feel there are few gaps in the app

1. If I need referrals from someone, there is no way to get it without disclosing my email in public.

2. The best time to scroll reddit is when you are in a meet. For that I use desktop version of reddit.
Is there an option to have web version of this app?

3. Also I feel there are very limited groups can we add groups like referral and avl jobs?

I have built a microblog app which encourages people to create content without any fear of trolling and bullying. We all know that online abuse is a big issue for teens and lot of adults too. 
Most of these abuses r done through comments and DM. So, i have removed these features and created a very minimalistic microblogging app where users can just create and not worry about negative reaction. 
Plz give brutal feedback

One of my clients is facing an issue with publishing apps.

On the Google play store they received the message - Violation
Privacy policy in Google Play User Data policy: Invalid privacy policy URL
Details
Your app’s privacy policy does not meet necessary policy requirements. Under the User Data policy, you must link to a privacy policy on your app's store listing page and within your app. Apps that do not access any personal and sensitive user data must still submit a privacy policy.
Please add or update your privacy policy, and make sure it is available on an active URL (no PDFs), is non-editable, applies to your app, and specifically covers user privacy.
Please review the following compliance checklist for privacy policies. Your privacy policy must:
Be linked on your app’s store listing page in Play Console and within the app itself.
Hold reference to the entity (for example, developer, company) named in the app’s Google Play listing or the app.
Include a clear labeling as a privacy policy.
Be readable in a standard browser without any plug-ins or special handlers (no PDFs).
Be available on an active, publicly accessible and non-geofenced URL.
Be non-editable.
Comprehensively disclose how your app accesses, collects, uses, and shares user data. This must include:
Disclosing the types of personal and sensitive user data your app accesses, collects, uses, and shares; and any parties with which any personal or sensitive user data is shared.
Secure data handling procedures for personal and sensitive user data.
Developer’s data retention and deletion policy.

(I drafted the policy and am sure it's not lacking anywhere)

And on the Chrome Extension, they straight away got the message -
Your developer account was suspended from the Chrome Web Store for publishing items that were engaged in malicious activities harmful to users. Given the nature of this violation your account will not be reinstated.

Why is grapevine so slow and buggy?!

Thank you for all the love and support over the last few weeks. :) 

Grapevine is just 5 weeks old and we are a very small team :)  But we are trying address feature requests as they come from you all. A few things from us: 

1. We recommend you update the app from the play/app store for the best experience 
2. As per popular demand - timestamps have now been introduced in the app  (available on latest version)
3. New (and hopefully better) algo for the popular feed has been rolled out 

Lastly, please feel free to drop in your feedback and feature requests in this post. We will try to implement everything we can.

Grapevine January 13th update

I'm a third year medical student from india, with the help of my tech background friend we have been working on creating a socialising app for medical students. We have been working for last 5 months on it & wanted to publish it on google play store.
But unfortunately it got rejected without any proper explanation and it happened again🥲.
Now we have a last attempt left to publish if this time we get rejected his account would be permanently banned.
And opening a new account requires a new system, a new payment gateway and wifi.
We both live 100kms apart, I can arrange a laptop but dont know much about tech, because once a new account is formed it can be accessed from that system only and not which was being previously used.
We are afraid of using someone else's account buz of the fear of loosing its access, also it would require his action to make any new change in the app.
I literally feel stuck, don't know what to do 😵‍💫, plz help🙏

Hey Folks!

I was planning on launching a new age social media application.

What are some good strategies I can apply to growth hack that shiz. 

Im planning paying some Twitter/LinkedIn/Instagram influencers and asking some of my buddies who have  a good following to post screenshots of the app. To make  it look organic, they’ll post some topic to rile up the audience and get that engagement. Also we are planning to not mention the app name in the tweet but always have it in the replies so it looks organic and is if our app is already the talk of the town

Does anyone have any suggestions? Does this sound like a good plan. I paid a freelance growth consultant a lot of money for this plan. How does it sound?  Anyone has any thoughts? Folks?

I am not able to post anything with an attached image.  Once I create the post and try to post it on a thread, it throws internal server error. Have tried to reinstall app a couple of times.

But whenever I wanna comment on a post, keyboard pops and closes within a second, this issue is not with posting or DM
