Help! How important are behavioural tests?
I completed my process with an org and a part of it was a behavioral psychometric test. The HR said that it will not impact my application however, I got an email regarding my results and they're inconsistent meaning I have scored low or something like that. I am not waiting to hear back. Do I still have a shot? Thoughts?

Just hope it they don't reject me because of this
These tests only seem to be a way to weed out applications to a smaller number. They do not have the usual numerical score out of 100 or something. Though, you may get percentile scores sometimes.
By inconsistent, it means that you have answered differently to the same question presented in two or more different ways which is very common in these tests. I also think that people can easily fake answers to present their best "personality" in these tests.
Ideally, if these tests are to be done, the results should be evaluated in combination with an actual interview. If it didn't impact the application, it wouldn't be needed. Why waste resources on it? It is difficult to tell how a company may use it.

Yeah, the HR told me that the results won't impact my selection/rejection but it's just for them to get to "know me better". It's making me nervous because I have crushed the interviews and getting rejected for this would be a little heart breaking

So no one has experienced something like this? I was really hoping someone has and could share their thoughts :(

I texted the hiring manager yesterday and they have not replied. I know what that means 😓
