(Homie Needs Help)Really want to switch is it worth it.

I graduated in 2021 and have worked in startups across EdTech, Cloud Communication, and currently in FinTech at a Series A startup. After 1.6 years in my first role, I pursued a 23% pay increase but faced a layoff after 10 months. Now, despite my experience, I'm finding it challenging to secure interview calls for an SDE 2 position. I currently work at a Series A startup where I joined after accepting a pay cut.(little above my first company ctcšŸ˜¢ and working for 7 months). My Job is really writing bunch of code but not designing or implementing any prominent systems as i am still SDE-1. I'm genuinely seeking your advice: 1ļøāƒ£ How do frequent job changes early in one's career impact hiring decisions, especially in different tech sectors? 2ļøāƒ£ Given my tech skills and startup background, what strategies can I employ to strengthen my resume for an SDE 2 role? 3ļøāƒ£ How significant is the company's reputation when considering a move to a more established startups/MNCs? 4. Is it worth changing or should i continue but pay is low than previous and i am not doing any sde 2 level job. Tech Stack: Java, Python, AWS, Flask, Springboot

Problem is you wanna do everything within your first 2-3 years. Seat back comfortably and think and ask yourself why do you want to do it so quickly? Iā€™m not saying donā€™t hustle or donā€™t grow fast. Iā€™m asking whatā€™s that one factor which is putting you in so much race and why do you want it all within 2-3 years only. Instead of that stay calm, hustle, grow, learn patiently. If the work is good and you are learning donā€™t think much about pay, a little less is okay in your early career. I donā€™t know why nowadays people want everything within 2-3 years only , learn to be patient and give things time. Respectfully stay a little patient and things will fall in place, keep learning and growing Red flags is when you are not able to learn stuff and being stagnant at a company. If you think this is the case then switch quickly otherwise learn and switch after sometime. Think about long haul donā€™t think short term! Cheers!

Is it time to quit my startup SDE role?

Been working with a pre series A level startup for about 3 years being my first job. Paid about 20-25lpa for a full stack role. Engineering + product team is still single digit strength as we are not pureplay tech company. Had a great learning because of a good manager and 0-1 kind of work we did but I am starting to feel stagnated because of following reasons 1. We don't have anything like SDE1, 2 etc because there are very few devs. 1 manager and everyone else is an SDE. The company doesn't intend to hire more for at least an year.. so i won't see any title level promotion or any role that feels senior despite being around for a while 2. Salary. Want to know if I am behind the standard pay because i belong to tier 1.5ish college. Big tech seems to pay more for 3yrs workex as usually people become sde2 by then

I'm working in service based company in worst tech (acc to me ). There are not enough projects still they hire so many freshers . Current now I'm 1 year 3 months exp I'm doing self study of data engineer and done some decent project . Should I plan for internal switch or look for outside opportunities. Will I get atleast mid senior role outside?(im planning after 2 years exp) I don't wanna start again in entry level. What checklist should I follow to successful switch. Need some guidance. I am currently working in a product based MNC with a decent salary for 8 months. I am having 3 years of work experience. Recently I got an interview opportunity from a US based startup company for a SDE 2 remote role with 50% hike. What shall I do? Switching to Indian startups job

I am working remotely at a SaaS company for 4+ years now. I started working since my final year of engineering. I joined here as a software engineering intern when the product was really new and booming. I have gotten bored of my work now, especially since I have been working from home all the time. I have very little social life. And I am getting fixed salary of about $1400 each month. I am thinking of switching to any Indian startup because I am not happy with my job being so monotonous and less pay at this level of experience. What should be the approach to crack the interviews? I have done DSA practice during my college days, but didn't crack any interviews with it. I am a full stack web developer but it doesn't excite me anymore and I want to stick to backend roles. And is it possible to crack an interview with for 30-40 LPA at this stage? Or do I have to climb up a salary ladder for a couple of years?
