Moving to BLR in Dec for work. Office is in MG Road. I want my commute time to be 30-40 minutes max (in metro). Q1) What places should I look for renting a studio/1bhk at around 15k-18k rent? Q2) What should budget be for fully furnished? Q3) Any broker or homeowner reccos? Thanks in advance! 🙏🏼

Check in No broker. You can stay in Jp nagar (less noisy) and take metro to mg road.

The problem with this is you will have to change metro trains at majestic from green line to purple line. So total time taken will be more than 30 minutes I guess

The founder of Rent Infiniti could be the solution you're looking for, too. They're in the process of developing a super app—a pretty ambitious endeavor. It's still in the early conceptual stage and hasn't been launched yet, but the founder is quite the champion.

MG Road and the whole central BLR is a posch area. Recommend you to find a stay in JP Nagar aur Kengri or areas before in metro line.

In 15-18k you’ll get unfurnished rooms in 2/3 bhk(total 25k-40k). For a 1bhk cost would be >18k(20k-25k). If you need help with furnishings i’m selling all of my stuff. -3L Fridge, -fully-automatic washing machine, -all kitchenware : gas stove, cookers, cooking pans, serving plates, bowls, cooking and serving hand spoons, staple food-containers -cloth drying stand, -home furnishing : curtains, doormats The stuff is in Koramangla. I'll be moving to Blr for 2-3 months, have to WFO, office in Whitefield. I'm very confused about finding an accommodation. Could you suggest any reliable sources where I can find accommodation and what areas will provide an affordable yet good accommodation. I am moving to BLR next month. I want to have some advice from people already livin there. I will be working near Indiranagar and am in the middle of figuring out the best place to stay. I am confused regarding both the area and kind of stay. Kind of stays: CoLive/PGs or 1RK/1BHK Area: Near Indiranagar, Domlur, Embassy Golf View or areas which come near Purple Line i.e. Kadugodi, HopeFarm, Hoodi, Kundalahalli, SeetharamPalya. Would really appreciate it if you could give suggestions, provide any sort of leads or even share your experience.

Tips/Questions regarding house hunting in Bangalore

Will be moving to Bangalore in a couple of weeks so looking forward to rent a flat asap. The office is in Mahadevapura(Bagmane Tech park) 1) What are some good localities nearby where I could find apartments in a gated society? 2) What is the best means to find a flat? (NoBroker, MagicBricks or brokers or a literal house hunt on foot) 3) Do the brokers charge brokerage every year for renewal of rental agreement?(as is the case in Pune) Anything else to keep in mind?

What's a good / cheap place to rent in Bangalore?

I am planning on moving to BLR next year, most likely in Feb but definitely before the first quarter. The plan is to stay for a year to network amongst the startup crowd. I wanted to know where I could bunker down for a year which is closer to such places and won't break my bank. I'll be living alone so anything from 1RK to 1BHK would work.
