Most of the recruiters or job consultancies calling you will ask you your current and expected salary. If you dont wish to specify it to them or tell during the interview process , in all chances recruiter would straight away deny to move forward with your application. How do you deal with it. Need suggestions.
What works for me is telling them I am not comfortable sharing my current salary so early in the process. If they further insist I ask them the salary range for this role and my expectations. If they are still insisting and not sharing what you ask then politely decline the process. Remember it's a two way process.
Absolutely , its a 2 way process but mostly its the smaller consultancies with a good opportunity denying to share information.
Same thing coming from a company recruiter is a big no.
