How does one find a wealth manager

Till now I’ve been investing our families income into shares and MFs by myself using own research and places like grapevine :)

Now the allocation and its wisdom has started worrying me as the overall portfolio inches towards 1cr

And I am wanting to consult a wealth manager but not sure how to begin the search for one.

Any leads?

I’m wondering if a fee-only RIA will suffice us rather than a PMS as I like the idea of do it yourself post fine tuning current portfolio. But since capital mind has been referenced here more than twice now I’m going to check them out. They seem to be a low cost PMS ..

They have a model portfolio subscription as well for 20k apart from PMS. Which will have 6 model portfolios for investment. I am using this service for past couple of years and made good returns.

The professional name you are looking for is called CFP. For 1 crore, you need a CFP not wealth manager.

FluffyBoba
FluffyBoba

Okay. Do I google search for one ?

They are good else you can always Google and try the one you like yourself too. They help you by analysing your insurance needs, existing investments etc. BTW, I'm a certified insurance advisor. You may contact me for any insurance needs. Email in profile. All the best.
