How's the culture now at Phonepe now that it's been about 4 months? I'm currently interviewing for a senior role

I'm not complaining. considering the toxicity I've encountered in my previous companies this is far better until now

Is it a hybrid model or work from office?

Quick question, I hope you don't mind answering.

Did you apply through referral? What was your background and YOE? Were you a startup founder earlier? What was the whole process till offer letter?

I had attempted it 7-8 months back and missed it in the final round. They called me back if I was interested to apply. I've only worked with startups 4.5YOE. 3 rounds of interviews

Not sure about that exact team, but I've a couple of friends working there and I myself am about to join too. Word of my friends is that work is challenging, but sometimes people tend to over complicate requirements and you've to over communicate a little to get clarity upfront. Otherwise things are good. Only negative is that remote is discouraged a lot.

Thanks. +1 Even I'll be joining in the next 4 weeks.

PhonePe Culture

Hi Folks, I am currently interviewing for PhonePe for a senior manager role in their Indus App store team. Any inputs on work culture, working from home flexibility and employee being would be helpful!

It's nice. Specially in Indus. Since no one is actually using it, you get a lot of time to make mistakes and chill.
