It is a traditional and old part of the Bangalore. Good veg food if you’re into it. Non veg bhi milega, but mostly veg. Reason being, lot of Jains reside here. Also full of Kannadigas.  
  
 It wont be all that cheap in proper Basvangudi, but relatively cheaper than Kora or Indiranagar. Gandhinagar closeby maybe cheaper.

Dont say Kora please. Say Koramangala. 🙏

I would be moving to Bangalore for the first time next month. I am a startup founder in early 20s and our current team strength is 4 founders (to go to 7-8 by end of year)

I was wondering what would be the best location in Banglore to set up a small office (within co-working spaces mostly) alongside getting a nearby 3BHK house for the 4 of us

* Flat would be for 4 of us, and tentative budget is 60K collectively
* We don't need to visit The Koramangala-indirangar area frequently but would like to stay close
* I don't know if possible but an area with greenery+ less traffic would be great (for ex- a gated society would work well)

What is a good salary range to live a good life there? By good I mean

They're compelling us to start WFO from here on even though I've spoken to my managers about this many times, my role doesn't require that I WFO because the people I closely work with are all clients and colleagues from other countries. 😒

The challenge is finding *a decent place at a reasonable rate*. I'm aware of landlords exploiting this situation (post-covid WFO) and I don't want to get exploited. Would also like to save as much money as possible because my parents depend entirely on me.

Please suggest options if you know of any decent flats (2 people sharing a big room or 2 people sharing a flat) or single occupancy at around 5k - 8k per person in and around ITPL and Marathahalli. I'd also like to hire a cook, so there will be those expenses, too. Not interested in spending a bigger amount on rent, especially given that layoffs are still happening.

Hey viners, lived in Koramangala for about 2 years now. Bangalore isn't my native, and I don't really need to go to office everyday (optional as of now). Early post covid rented house, hence not having a bloated expense now in terms of monthly rent. But I really want to move out of Koramangala, it's so much NOISE and I'm not really the party animal. Apne ko shanti chahiye, peaceful locality. 
But aukat comes into play and I can't really afford to live in a posh gated society/ residential area. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I got a job offer of 10 LPA base as a Business Analyst at a BFSI company. The work is full remote with an option to do hybrid as well. The office is in Bangalore and I really want to move there since it’s just the starting of my career and I feel like I could learn a lot by being in office, but idk if I can afford Bangalore rent and COL with this base. Bangalore relocation crisis

Background:
I have around 7 years of experience. Right now doing WFH from tier-2 city and staying with family (Married so wife + my parents). My current job is good but politics and bad manager came into picture. I applied to few jobs and got an offer.

Current Situation:
The offer I got is WFO (hybrid) from Bangalore so I need to move. Increment in terms of cash is 12.5% (they dont want to push more). RSU is good and they vest in 1 year directly.
I estimate that house I require near my office (Kadybeesanahalli) will cost around 50-60k and rest budget of 50-60k. So I will save around 1-1.5L (50% will go to MF, stock etc)

Question:
Is this a good decision to move and settle there ?
New org is a reputable one and has stable job as of now

Note: I am not including my wifes salary as she still needs to search a job

Since I have heard Bangalore has lot of traffic problems, one should not stay much away from office.

With the cost of living skyrocketing in many Bengaluru, I've been considering a move to a more affordable area. BUT it would likely mean a pay cut. I'm torn between financial stability and quality of life.

Bangalore's infra has been crumbling under the weight of its population growth. I believe that yesterday's traffic jam was just a trailer and situation will only worsen with time.

 much peaceful compared to Bangalore and work culture is way better than my experiences in Bangalore.  
 Festival celebrations are just amazing and no bad experiences since past 1.5 yr 
 Congestion is piling up this city just like BLR, as a lot of tech companies are gearing up for new offices and new tech parks are already under construction - specifically KHARADI area and they say almost 1.5 lac IT jobs will open up in the next 3-4 years.  
 Traffic woes are same,but again depends on the which part you stay - as we have similar deadlock junctions in Pune as well, if compared to BLR.

I hate it but my company forces me to move there. It's one of the worst cities i lived. Weather and food is amazing but the quality of daily life is just not worth it with traffic, gundas, the constant digging and of course the supreme land owners demanding inflated rents
