How is work culture at swiggy ? And how is the learning opportunities for a software developer ?

I am currently working at a startup for 1.5 years now and wants to switch. If swiggy has an opening , is it a good place to work at ? Also how’s the pay there ? But good work culture is more important for me.

Swiggy has introduced a new level of hierarchy altogether with the name of Associate Software Dev Engineer and hiring them with pay of 8 lpa. Mind you the lowest salary which any SDE in Swiggy gets is 18 lpa.

Aa you might have already guessed by now, this new level is introduced to hire people for same work but at a lower pay. 🙃 There is no work culture in Swiggy, everything feels like more of a transaction. People are looking out for a switch and many talented folks have already left. If you are someone who is looking for a good work culture, I can assure you Swiggy is not the place. Neither by compensation nor by respect nor by any other means.

Wow will Swiggy shutdown ? This is exactly how the downfall started in Byjus. Hiring people for sama job at lower salary and then best people leaving when everything felt like transactions

Most of the startups are in loss only or have just started making profits by doing cost cutting (not in adv/marketing).
