How many internships are good to have on CV

In August 2024 , I will complete my 2nd year engineering ( core ) , I will get 2 months free time , I want to apply for internships at that time but I don't know what should my resume contain , I want to apply for growth, finance, (generalist type of ) roles ,(Startups / MNC ) . My resume will be completed empty other than education and projects 😕😕 . Can anyone tell what should I do in next 6 months to get selected for internships

I am currently in my third year studying computer science and I am confused about what to do next. Here are some quick points about my profile: - Strong GitHub profile - Part of Google's summer of code 2023 - Built some interesting projects (tech stack: typescript, postgres, redis) - I have studied a fair bit of High Level Design (System Design) - I have a decent leetcode profile (500 questions mostly medium and Hard) (1800 contest rating) - I also have strong CS fundamentals (DBMS, oop, CN) I am currently getting interviews from startups but they want 6 month interns and I cannot do such a long internship right now with college. I am only available for a 2 month summer intern (which most startups don't want). I am from a Tier 2 college and we do have some good companies come for placements but I'm not sure about the scenario for next year. Any tips or advice on what I should focus on? how I should prepare? what kind of companies I should target? Your experience and insights will be of tremendous help for me

I am a final-year CS student and will be graduating this June. I have been doing internships since 6th semester. In my first and second year I used to code like 9 to 10 hours a day and learn new skills and thanks to that I was able to grep an internship in start of 6th sem and since then I am doing internships and its been 1.5 years and I have done 2 internships, one as an backend developer for 6 months and another as an ML Engineer for 10 months and I am still interning over here and I have learned a lot and have worked on many amazing projects, now the problem is my current company told that they will give me full time offer if they receive the funding in April or may and HR told me to consider this as no and now the CEO of my previous internship called me and asked me if I am willing to join there for full time and I told him I am waiting for the offer from here and he told me that he will try to match the offer but I don't want to join the older company as there the culture is toxic and I also don't have other offer to negotiate as I did not sit for on campus placement as I am getting paid more as an intern(50k per month) then the full time offers the companies are giving on campus. Now in 2 months, I will be graduating and still, I don't have full-time offer now I feel like all the sacrifices I made in my first and second years went in vain, all the hard work, consistency, missing parties and trips all these things now makes me depressed, where did I go wrong and what should I do now?

I am a computer engineering student from a tier 3 college in Pune. Now that I am in the last couple of months of my 6th semester multiple companies have come to our campus but I haven't gotten an internship. How do i search for internships off campus? Are there any tips from some experienced people like what do companies look at when giving out internships. Since last month I started applying off campus using linkedin and other websites but I am not getting any callbacks for interviews or even online tests. Previously I haven't done any internships but have done projects which I have out on my resume. Please forgive me if the format of this post is wrong, vague or broad. Hi All I am from a non-tech background and from a QA role from a service-based firm. I also have a 3 year career Gap. Since last year, I learnt relevant Frontend tech and have built couple of major projects around it. I am currently 30 years old and I am looking forward to change of domain of expertise. I want to apply for internships to get relevant industry experience in this field. I wanted to know the eligibility criteria (especially background specific) for the internship roles, as will I be considered as a relevant intern candidate, given my background ? Most of the Intern Job postings that I come across mention "Specific Batch Details" as their eligibility criteria. What other things should I be keeping in mind while for applying for internships. Any advice or suggestions from the community would be helpful. Thanks

I'm a 3rd year student looking for internship opportunities in December. I'm looking for potential full stack roles. I tend to work on scalable backend stuff and on the frontend side, I've worked on decent projects (mostly integrating ml models with a frontend). The thing is, I'm confused right now. I feel like it's better to start working in a startup as I don't have practical industry experience. My main issue right now is not knowing how to find startups or how to email them, what to include in the email and so on. I'm completely blank and new to applying for jobs and I'm looking for some input here on how to approach this.

I'm from a tier 3 college and can't get my hands on good projects or cool teams to work with. My peers are bookworms and have no practical knowledge, I feel completely directionless atm🫠. Anyine know where I could look/ what I could do?
