How to get out of support projects?

I am a frontend developer, working in a service based company, still have 1.7 years of experience, I dont know how I fell into this situation, but I got ownership on the frontend of a very large enterprise app in our project and our client is a big banking American company. At first I was content that I was learning angular and making proper decisions to keep things smoothly, now it is eating up my life, and to say this is the First development project and first application I am working in my career. I conveyed that this thing is too much for me in the beginning itself but nobody listening and now all are behind my back on updates and its killing me from inside, what do i do in this situation? I am not able to switch due to long notice period and even the recession is at large. What do i do??

Hi folks, I am a fronted developer with 5+ years of experience in TCS. I am doing well in my previous project but that is complete then I joined another project where I am struggling to do a smaller job as well. I am not sure what's going to happen to me every time I am the only person who always points out even if I make that mistake or not. Even though nothing motivated me, day by day my performance was going down I am feeling tired from this same time I am thinking about leaving the project and searching for something new but they are not releasing me. Due to this I visit the doctor and he says you are in depression and suggest some pills. Nothing motivates me here. Can anyone suggest to me what I do now.

I am working for a WITCH Company for past 2 years . They aren’t giving any project just asking for upskilling and complete internal certification. I got into a project (Tech:Azure Databricks) and now the client has reduced the budget and im removed from the project. I am 25y and joined as a fresher. What should i do..?

TLDR : I joined this company back in the end of 2021 and got trained for 3 months and got selected into a project but after 5 months the project got shelved due to billing issues from client side. Anyways after 2 months I got selected into another new project which is Good actually and I got in hands experience and upskilled myself there for almost 10 months then the project was successful and released from it. The worst thing happened is during this time it's my hike and appraisal time, i don't know why but my manager gave me a 3/5 rating even though I performed my tasks within time and in feedback he said your knowledge and skills are good. After 2 months I got moved to a support type project but the thing is I didn't got any work frequently 😞, even when I asked my manager to give me work he's giving only one incident per week and eventually worked for another development team for 2 months regarding a new object but it also got hold due to billing. And worked in that project till November last yr, from December I'm not getting any work or response from the manager. Finally in January I got an email that there is no scope for billing in this project and we are releasing you, so please look into any other project and we are forwarding your resume to others. Now, I am feeling sad because in the span of 2+ years i got work in hands for only 1 year and the remaining time got wasted and another thing is I don't have any project now and my next appraisal is in 5 months from now.

I graduated in 22 and it’s been a year since I joined my first company. Considering the current market situation, switching the company doesn’t seem to be an easy task. I got the opportunities to work on 5 projects in this company and unarguably learned a lot. But now they have put me in the support project saying that they don’t have projects. Wouldn’t lie they laid off approx 1k employees, I and few others are the only saved ones. Would it be a good idea if I stay in this company for one more year while slowly preparing for the switch utilising the amount of time I’d get being in this support project or rush myself to change the company?

Today, I received a warning email from the HR stating my performance is slow and they are going to decide on my employment. I have joined this company very recently, as SDE 2. They are expecting me to complete a 30 day task within 10 days. I got excited and took it. I have been working my ass off, beyond the clock to achieve it. Most of it was new to me, since i don't have professional experience on this particular stack. It took me 6 days to achieve stability and structure of the application. Literally I haven't been sleeping a bit. Now after 10 days they just shared this email. I really wanted to let this out.

Hey guys, i'm planning to switch my company after 8 months in the company and there is a notice of 2 months so that would be 10 months in the company. I feel out of place here, though I have delivered so far (6 months) because i'm picking tasks which I know, I don't know how long it will last. I'm stuck in a client project and i'm scared that if I get something I don't know and I don't deliver, I'll be yelled at. I'm looking for companies with good work life balance and culture, non client work. Below are the companies I know which have good culture 1. SAP labs 2. NatWest Group 3. Fidelity International 4. American Express Do you guys know any other good companies with good culture, work life balance and preferably non client work.

feeling like I am literally in the worst phase of my life. Our company is taking ownership of an abroad project and those abroad folks are not supportive or even if they support us then they give little information so that we can't take ownership. so we freshers have to figure out everything, and now even after figuring out, my manager and higher management asks me anything with respect to the product(features, deployment, anything literally- it's a big & complex project) even though I am a fresher and don't even have the proper knowledge and then ask us to explain to them what we know, and it's literally frustrating to explain to every single guy every single time. Because the manager asks to prepare to explain to him and then to the higher manager and then whenever something is there they keep asking again and again to give a presentation or our ideas about it, but they don't even ask abroad folks when they are the one who is doing the work. I just feel like I can't keep up with this and I want to resign. How to say no to the manager for doing a particular work again and again or should I resign because I am feeling very low right now and still after 1 year it looks like I have wasted the time because I got to write code for maybe 5% and 90-95% feels like college presentation. Every time there's something and they ask the same thing 3-4 times, sometimes it would be give the x info or then y info and like this only and because of that i can't do the real work or work on new features because the Indian manager and higher officials keep giving extra work which they should ask from US folks. What should I do please suggest

I’ve been working in an early-age startup as a frontend developer and am about to complete 2 years in 1 month. This is my first job. I want to quit immediately and then look for a job by doing some good preparation but I am so confused about what to do. I am actively applying. I am leaving this company coz there’s no increment this year also I have to switch projects frequently. I’ve worked on an MVP alone but the work is not organized like mid-level startups, big startups or MNCs. My question is simple. Should I leave and then start looking for jobs actively or I should stay here until the job market recovers? PS - Let me know if someone is hiring for frontend roles.It’ll be a great help

I am a PM at an edtech startup. The company is not doing well and my boss is not a good leader. Although company has a runway of 2 years. For the past 3 months I have been doing program management. No product management related work at all. No one appreciates you here. It's mentally challenging to work here. No road map for myself. No appraisal. I'm just going on the job for salary. For the past week, I have been thinking about quitting and taking a break. Then look for a job. I know the market is tough but I have runway for 4-5 months. I have a total of 3 years of Product experience. What should you guys suggest. I really need your help here.
