I am planning to change to US TAX team I have noticed this is very frequent when work may get stretch to 4 in the morning. Can some one through some light?

Anyone has an idea on how taxes work if you're working remotely for a foreign (say US) company. Is it like you are taxed both from the US and India? For those who are working in such companies, it will be great if you can shed some light here.

Are there any tax benifits/ loss while working for a remote company while staying in India? I'm told that the pay would be a bank - wire transfer every month or it could be a payoneer. Are there any specific questions should i ask to get more clarity on this? If you have any resource, please paste the link below ...

I have got allocated to a US based project, so I need to know the US shift timings

Hi All. I am working for a US company from India. My manager is based in US as well. More than 50% of my team is in US too. I am constantly in catch up mode because there is no proper communication from leadership. I am usually the one who has to burn the midnight oil or be the early bird. Not only is it impacting my health (I get migraines because my trigger is less sleep) but it has started impacting my family too now who blame me for doing so much with very little returns. No promo though it was promised a year ago. What should I do? Please note that I have a mortgage so quitting job is not an option.

I'm working with Ernst & Young for around 4 years now. Great working culture, great flexibility, decent salary. I work in international Taxation. I haven't started exploring opportunities outside, but I was curious to understand if I should apply to finance startup companies or stick to Big 4 company. I am looking for more salary, interesting role, more learning, I can put in maximum hours on a daily basis, prefer 2 week wfh/ wfo. Please advise?

I got a hybrid role in a startup that started late in morning. Was waking up around 9 am to reach the office. Now I have shifted to a remote role. Which has got me waking up at 1 pm (or 2) and awake till 4-5 am. I don't have any reason for the shift; it just happened. I have tried all youtube methods, but nothing seems to work. P.S. One good thing, I have the soundest sleep now. Don't even remember snoozing the alarms.

I am a Tax Manager at EY GDS with 7years of experience. I focus on US and Non US ASC740 as well as US 1120 Reporting. Within GDS I manage some of the biggest TFOs which has a lot of complexity. Prior to this I was in Deloitte and a corp in industry. Please advise.

For me 5 - I start by 11 and end by 7 but take an hour lunch break, 4-5 tea/coffee breaks and some gossips - I tracked one day and it was 5.2 hrs. What about you?
