I'm in tier 2 engineering college just completed my first year and just learnt C not 100% but tried to know the basics I'm confused to choose a path in coding What should i start learning how to learn these languages im so confused rn each and everyone is saying something different one is saying go for c++ then dsa someone is saying go for WEB dev I wanna learn something that'll help me in college as well as make me earn that much that i can fulfill my basic needs in college And lastly how to be motivated always to grind and learn as well as code cause i always lose motivation after few days because of fear that i don't know anything and I'm just a average student I'm scared that my college years will be waste if i didn't learn anything beforehand Please someone guide me the roadmap how and what to do

I’m a college grad from IIT in CSE. I haven’t done any competitive coding or any proper coding during my college days for that matter. I have lost confidence in myself for some reason. I had taken up a business job but left it in a few months because I thought I could do better. I want to do competitive coding but as soon as I open my laptop, anxiety kicks in. I need guidance on how to proceed and what recourses should I use. I don’t want to waste my degree as I feel I can do better than my previous job. Please help me on fighting my demons.

I'm 24 year old unemployed. I graduated in 2021 with BTech IT from tier 3 college. Initially I was preparing for UPSC exam but I gave up after few months and now for a year I have been learning Front End Development and have learnt HTML, CSS, JS & ReactJS but unable to find a job. I made a lot of mistakes in past and didn't learned from them. I'm not good at anything. I apply daily at different platforms ex: wellfound (formerly angellist), hirist, hirect, instahyre, cutshort, individual mass hiring companies off campus but from nowhere I'm getting interview call even if I get call I'm not able to clear interview. Now the thing is my parents gave me ultimatun to get out of the house by April 1st they don't care what type of job I do. I don't understand what can I do now. I'm willing to do hardwork and learn from my mistakes I just need little guidance to get on a track. If anyone can guide me on how to get a job or any advice. I would really appreciate it. Hello everyone,I am 2021 CS graduate.I was preparing for GATE exam for my mtech.But I couldn't perform well enough to get good college.I will probably get around 4000 rank this year.(I know this not good rank for general category and I won't get my desired college/course)I have very good conceptual understanding of CSE subjects like DS, algorithms, databases,and operating systems.But I haven't done any programming and any practical implementation of these.(I only have good btech project on my resume)I have decided to take upcoming TCS NQT to get my first job in IT field. So my main questions are :- 1)what should be my further direction from here ? 2)Should I take job or give GATE another attempt (along with job)? 3)Also please suggest how can I land my first job after gap of 1.5 years.?

I'm 2023 btech grad, I have selected in virtusa, LTIMindtree and dxc but none of them are giving response to full time. They are just delaying the process. I'm worried about my future, and confused what to do, so that I land a job. I have knowledge of core java, sql, basic dsa(leetcode 150+) and very basic project(that don't come in mini project category). What to do? ... should I prepare dsa or do backend in java? ... or just wait for the on boarding

I have completed my BE -ECE in 2016, I didn't go to any job due to some family issues and commitments.I really wanted to kickstart my career now..but I am afraid of coding, though I have some basic knowledge in Python HTML and CSS I stopped learning after that..I am afraid that am i able to make a career in IT? As I am having career break,I am planned to do masters in Germany.. preparing for IELTS and started learning German.Will I get admission in public universities even though I have no work experience?Is my choice is right idk? Am i afraid of coding even before learning or what?I can also think of Data science career...bit I am not tht good at math...again I come to same place... Does data Science or Devops works for me? Is IT not for me? idk wat I can do..I am really at low self-esteem esteem?will I become independent in my life?

I am a student doing my internship at a startup in Bangalore. I get paid very less. I want to join a product based company. I didn't do much of either competitive programming or DSA. Currently i am learning DSA and planning to start Competitive programming to crack product companies. But i am confused is this right or should I follow some other paths?? Can anyone help me with this🥲

I am a student in a tier 3 college, my placement season is starting in 2months Current Knowledge - -> Dsa: Average in dsa, like >30min for leetcode medium questions and sometimes not able to solve also, rarely able to solve hard question -> Dev: Html, css, js, react and currently learning backend for making some good projects Questions: 1. What should I realistically do in order to get a decent placement ? 2. How much time should I give to what thing so that I can prepare well in 60days ? 3. For off-campus should I do more of dsa or dev ?

I am in my 5th sem of my engineering degree. Didn't start DSA neither did any development. Can anyone recommend where to start and how to start for both and any tips?
