IT raid at Meghana Biryani Koramangala and Indiranagar

So at the night of 16th Feb there was theft at my rented house in Koramangla 1st Block, when I was at my hometown, thieves took whatever gold & silver was there at home about 1 lakh value. It’s a stand alone house where the owners stay above. Since they are locals they informed the police the very same morning and there were teams of police on the same day. They took all the CCTV footage and a dog squad, finger print team was at the location while day. I thought they have taken the matter seriously and they would find the thieves quickly. But it’s almost a month now and even I tried visiting the Koramangla police station after I was back, but they told the police officer is not present and next time call and come. I don’t see any progress in the case and I think these folks won’t do anything unless there is something for them to gain. Has anyone else experienced this? And what should one do in such a situation?

Got an email from payroll team that Income Tax dept. has flagged some employees ITR of our org. Seems false claims and deductions. Giving one time opportunity to rectify and re file ITR of last 3 years to avoid further action! Has this happened to you too or its just me? Suggestions? 🥺

It said it found a bunch of unaccounted sales that were done in cash 2. When this news came out, its share price fell more than 23% on a single day, the highest ever in its history. 3. BUT this assumes that tax fraud is always bad for the company. In this particular instance, the ITD press release says that the tax fraud was done by hiding revenue. 4. Which means that -- assuming ITD is correct -- this is additional revenue that will be recognised the next year onward (even though it was hidden till now). So, in some ways, Polycab should actually be worth more than before the tax fraud was discovered, because of the additional revenue. 5. This is a simplification, of course. If Polycab has defrauded investors once, it might do so again. Which is why its future share price will not just be about its discounted future cash flows but also but about the trust that the company will have lost in the eyes of the investors. 6. In a country of 140 crore people, only 6.77 crore file taxes, out of which only 20 lakh people pay taxes with income over 20 lakh. The income tax data collected shows only 1.7 lakh people reporting income of more than Rs 1 crore in a year. Yet luxury brands like BMW, Jaguar, Audi, Mercedes, Porsche, and Maserati sell almost 35,000 cars every year. Also, 45 lakh people have incomes above Rs 10 lakh, but 25 lakh cars are bought every year. That only shows that tax evasion is soaring.

Is it just me or Drunk and Drive checks have reduced and tax collections like BBMP property taxes, and alcohol rates have gone up in Bengaluru? This is happen soon after new govt have formed. Do you all see this or i am doing over analysis ✌️
