I have good enough knowledge in java and spring boot not at all proficient in DSA, I want to give myself 4 months to work on my ds and algo, and to brush up spring boot and java. Which companies should I target if : 1) Got confidence in DSA and spring boot 2) Got confidence in basic DSA array stack queue linked list and spring boot 3) Got confidence in only spring boot and backend development And what should I expect as ctc in each of the above possibilities

What’s the realistic timeline to achieve 50-75 LPA in Bangalore? Currently on 28 LPA. If followed career progression of my seniors, it will take at least 7 more years in the same company to hit ~75LPA. Need guidance from folks who are making these figures. I believe this will help anyone and everyone who is in this path in life? Note: I’m extremely grateful for all the opportunities and my current life through help from mentors and hard work. Seeing a lots of discussion about people complaining about inflated salary, it's quite sad to see such discussions. Take SWE for example, so an swe is expected to move to an expensive city with high travel and food expenses, scant housing options with landlords hiking the price 40-80%, work 8 hrs a day and sometimes even 12. And if he's drawing 20-30LPA he's considered overpaid?! Not to mention the guy has to pay a huge chunk to the government and we're not americans who don't care about their family and have to take care of them as well. We're all overworked and underpaid (if you consider the amount of hrs one work and how much they are paidpaid in abroad) and considering the situation still underpaid. There may be people who might be drawing a high salary and barely do any work (considering they take a lot of leaves and don't put time and effort in work) but that should be the discussion of the inadequate framework for calculating better metrics for productivity and how companies fail to do their due diligence, instead of complaining about high salary. This affects us all and if we all think that salaries are inflated it only hurts us more.

Why do so many people work in the Big 4 given that you have to work so many hours and your work life balance doesn’t exist. Is having a Big 4 on your CV really worth all of that hassle and not having a life in your 20s? What about you guys? What are your personal reasons for staying with the big 4?
