I have 15 plus years experience in different process in backend Testing, pensions and voice calls, also hv done diploma in HR through correspondence however couldn't upskill myself due to various responsibility at home and sickness in my family each year so hospital and house care was needed so wanted advice whether data analytics could be the right course for upskilling or higher LPA due to my diverse process jump or which will be a proper course to join - is Coursera good or upgrad for post graduation or coding ninjas - I am confused pls help, pls advice

I'm currently pursuing my B.TECH in bioinformatics  ( 2nd yr) and I want to ustilize my time of vacations to upskill myself in the area which I find intersiting. After talking to some data analyst on linkden (some of them pivoted to this role from non-tech background, rest had done their b.tech or masters in statistics and then pivoted to D.A). Thus,I thought to give it a try by doing some course. I wanted general opnions about the courses provided by these institutions, is Excelr Thane's data analytcis course worth it? Would be open to all kind of opinions.

I am currently working in the NLP field, any suggestions on what courses can be done or what topics to explore more from the experienced folks would be helpful. I was thinking to join data science course in scalar program. Quite expensive program hence please help me to say whether course is worth for beginners wrt  course ,teaching and projects in the curriculum. Also whether they have a job placement after course completion and whether actually we get jobs . I am already 9 years experienced but from database and devops background not data engineering. If anything better course then scalar along with placement ,that also can be advised.Thanks in advance

I have an MBA in finance and I'm currently working as a QA data analyst at Wells Fargo.
I have a previous 1 year 3 months workex as an Android developer in a startup company (I'm a CS undergrad).

The current role I'm working in requires coding in python to automate Excel files we get to check certain data standards for compliance and validate Excel files based on some standards. Mostly even manual validation of excel files. 

I want to switch my job to work in good ML projects with finance as my domain, for this I have made a strategy:
1. Get a FRM level 1 certification (for the CV to get shortlisted)
2. Learn ML on Kaggle and solve problem sets as a way to prepare for the interviews of ML roles.
3. I'm considering to get an FDP certification as well. (https://fdpinstitute.org/Curriculum-Overview)

My concerns now are:
1. Is the above a valid startegy to crack a fin ML role? (please suggest if anything better)
2. Is FDP a good certification (I know it's not much heard of, but the curriculum is good)
3. What kind of companies and roles can I apply for if add these CV points and if I can get skilled in the above? 

Please do give me your inputs. Any kind of suggestions are appreciated.
