Thoughts on Data Analytics course provided by ExcelR?
I'm currently pursuing my B.TECH in bioinformatics ( 2nd yr) and I want to ustilize my time of vacations to upskill myself in the area which I find intersiting. After talking to some data analyst on linkden (some of them pivoted to this role from non-tech background, rest had done their b.tech or masters in statistics and then pivoted to D.A). Thus,I thought to give it a try by doing some course. I wanted general opnions about the courses provided by these institutions, is Excelr Thane's data analytcis course worth it? Would be open to all kind of opinions.

I would say also recommend to checkout positpbc youtube channel. It's run by posit company (earlier known as rstudio) and i think they have a playlist for tutorials. Also you can check out big book of R (just Google it) . It's a collection of all (almost) R related books.
Following is a personal opinion, so please read it with a grain of salt:
I generally don't go for paid courses because there are many free videos and lectures available. Rather, much better route would be to develop some package. Especially in R, you can create a ggplot templates package which is easy enough for beginners.

Also, you should join R for Data Science on slack. Many experienced folks in there to answer all R related things

ExcelR is a scam. Check the reviews on Google by filtering lowest.

Based on the reviews I saw on google I connected with few students at linkden who had done this course from Thane specifically. Most of them had no issues with the mentors who trained them however had issues with scheduling of mock interviews, duration of internship lasting more than 3 months, and placement assistance.
First Try taking the best courses from Udemy which may cost you around 500 rs per course.
Ex - Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI
In Parallel do various projects from YouTube.

I've just started looking into alex the analyst youtube videos, and find it quite beginner friendly so far. I'll look into udemy courses too.
