Does the role change in Infosys, e.g. From Consultant to Senior Consultant comes with Salary hike by default? If it does, what's the % increase expected?

Or the salary remains the same? And increment is independent of role change.

1 year after joining, you are eligible for progression. Unless there's some performance issue, you should get it immediately. It doesn't cost them anything, just a title change. But it starts the clock of 2 years for promotion to Consultant.
