- Instagram has introduced 'Teen Accounts' making all accounts of users aged 13-17 private by default.
- New settings limit who can contact teens and the type of content they can view.
- Teens aged 16-17 can opt out of these settings with parental supervision; those under 16 need parental permission.
- The changes will roll out in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada over the next 60 days, with a global rollout expected in January 2025.
