Is GrowthX worth it?

For some context, I'm an APM at a B2B SAAS company. Low salary 7Lpa with Wfh. The thing is my company has some products but it operates like a services firm and quite bad and slow as well. My efforts to change the operating processes are never heard. So I've decided to leave the company. I was interested in growthX because my current company struggles with growth and came up on them through YouTube. So now the questions are: 1. Is their content any good? 2. Are the enough job change opportunities? 3. Are there any good success stories? What do you think?

1. Content is decent. You get hands on experience of some frameworks which is helpful. Nothing that you can’t learn on your own if you do your research but most people don’t do that so a structured time bound course helps with learning objectives. Capstone project helps you implement what you learnt in a team setting and reinforce some more learning. Overall if you put in the effort, you will feel up-skilled at the end. Don’t fall for their cringe fomo marketing of making you feel special. Just keep your head down and focus on the grind, and you will be okay. Still feel it’s a bit more overpriced right now 2. At your level, you will get access and help to apply to lot of APM or entry level PM roles in early stage startups. I see lot more of these type of roles on their job board since last 6 months. It’s also a function of the market tbh. And it’s not that good out there. They have recently built lots of helpful prep material for interviews so that’s a plus. 3. Have seen both kinds of stories. People pivoting their careers and figuring out their next moves and people feel completely disillusioned as well. All depends on how seriously you do it. Do all the assignments and capstone with full effort and you will surely learn a lot. Just coming for the network and wanna coast through ? You can do that too, but you will feel cheated having paid so much. Hope that helps. PS : I did it a few years back at a much discounted rate and have mentored quite a few batches on their capstone projects.

Depends on the industry tbh. Can be around 15 lpa average (+\- 5)

They just help you with knowledge. Grttejob or switching is all upto you. You are also learn it via AI tools. Content is now easily accessible. Just buy Chatgpt subscription and keep asking questions. Dont waste on courses. Build, learn, execute.

I would look at it in this way. Why do you want to enroll in GrowthX? Is it to learn about product management? If yes, is there something specific you wanna learn or need a roadmap to figure it out? Is it for building connections and getting a job? If so, currently, how good are you at networking? If not good, are you sure you'll be able to capitalise on networking when you and the other learners would be working on the course as well? Also before you sign up, make sure you've planned out a timeslot where you'll dedicate your time here. If not, it quickly spirals out and you'd have put 60k down the drain. I've been in the same situation as you earning 7LPA but all 5 days in the office and went through the same thing. What personally helped me was focusing on the job, learning by doing and gaining respect amongst peers and senior folks.
