Is easy interview a red flag?
I’m not a big fan of 6 rounds of Dynamic programming, but, should easy interviews be viewed as red flags? I recently landed an offer from a startup ( <50 employees ). They had only 1 tech round ( API development assignment ). Rest was talking to folks. Should I view this as a red flag? Do you have any alternative experiences?
I guess just by seeing your experience and how you talk about tech and solutions that you have crafted tells a lot about how good of an engineer you are. Think of this, why would a startup require you to solve dp? Their main goal is to ship fast and more. It makes sense for big tech to do that, even if your api takes 30 extra ms it doesn't matter at a startup (not always but most of the cases)
I recently interviewed at 2 decent startups, in one I was just asked a tree question and in the other one the interviewer skipped the dsa part saying I don't think we need to test dsa, he just asked me about data structures and in what case which ds helps optimize.

What's the TC they're offering?
Not exactly. It does mean tho that they really need to hire asap i.e. work is there
It could mean that the company might have hire and fire culture, I worked with a company previous where they used to hire with 1 round of medium interview, And fire you if they are not satisfied with your performance within the next 3 months. I have seen people getting fired even in 15 days
That also depends on your experience? What's your experience in building software? And total experience in software
What does that mean sorry?😅 Control over what you work on, how you work on it?
Talking to folks and getting cultural approval >> solving DSA rounds.
If you already have a good profile, solved their assignments, AND convinced their team to hire you, I think you've just cracked it and that's why you're thinking it's easy
