Is it difficult to earn money through writing in India?
I like writing and would like to keep it as a side income source in future, especially someday when I get fed up with my job. Is it very difficult to earn decent money from writing? What options do you suggest such as writing a book, blogs, content writing for social media, newspaper etc.

Too many writers these days. And too many of them with good contacts.
Writing is the equivalent of photography. Every one with a mobile phone claims to have a passion for photography.
But who knows, so keep writing. may be you will hit the gold mine. Its doesnt cost anything to keep doing it.
Indeed, writing can open a treasure chest in India! Just dive in with your pen, not your resignation letter. Sabr ka phal meetha hota hai!
