Working as a freelance writer

Hey folks, I want to dip my hand in freelancing. My job is quite laid back and i have a lot of free time. I have been grinding leetcode in my free time but I'm bored of it. So, I decided why not use this to expand my real working knowledge and earn some side income too. Any experienced freelance person, please guide on how to start and where to. I know it takes a serious hustle to break the first client. But starting itself seems daunting to me. Thanks for your time

Hi everyone , I want to know if there are any freelancers out there or have knowledge of it ? I want to start freelancing and made an account on fiverr and upwork but I don’t know to start initially. Also, would leaving the job in the long run be fruitful for the sake feelancing as I see a lot of people make a lot more than corporate job. And last but not the least , I see a lot of people struggling to get money out of clients.

I am seeing lots of 22 years old who have opened their digital marketing agency and earning really good money by working with freelance clients who pay in dollars. I am starting up and I want a source of income. Don't really want to go to corporate job. Haven't had much success with freelancing. Cold mailing hardly works and gig websites like Upwork etc have lots of competition at some really cheap rate. What are the best way to getting freelance work with international clients? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Any tips on how to get started. I along with two of my friends are looking to get into freelancing. And we are a perfect mix of engineers. I am a Backend dev with 2+ years of experience and one of my friends is a lead AI engineer, the other is a fronted engineer with extensive experience in react. Any help/lead would be much appreciated.

Have worked in multiple industries leading and setting up content teams. Marketing content, long form, short form, all of it. Wanted to explore if having my own clients would be a better deal? I have been searching for job for almost 4 months now, due to layoff. The job market is pretty tough these days so I thought of trying out freelancer path. Even after having a really solid resume and work experience, it’s difficult to get freelancing jobs. I am exploring upwork and freelancer platform but it’s of no use till now. Do you have any such freelance platform recommendations (which works) or someone you can connect me to ?

For a few months now, I have been looking for some freelance work in content creation for some extra income to support my family. However, there has been no luck. Whichever portal I go to, recruiters are only looking for full time employees. Neither are part time jobs available. Is this anyone else struggling with finding freelance work?
